My husband and I had the full Hammam treatment and a one hour massage and were absolutely blown away by how amazing we felt afterward. The treatment rooms are absolutely beautiful and our masseuses were fabulous. The whole experience from the time in the steam room, to the loofah, then foam treatment was incredible. If you have the time in Athens, treat yourself to this amazing experience. The staff, from check until check out is incredible and the spa itself is beautiful. - Beata I1 contributionI had the most amazing experience at the Old City Hamam in Athens on December 31st! From the moment I walked in with my mum, we were welcomed with warmth and professionalism. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, with a beautiful blend of traditional design and modern comfort. The treatment was pure bliss—my skin felt rejuvenated and incredibly soft afterwards. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure every detail of our visit was perfect. It was the perfect way to end the year, and we left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and completely pampered. Since you enter the spa, you start to experience. It's like enter to a different world.

I've had loads of massages before, but the pre- and aftercare is just more wholesome than what I'm used to. They take their time, discuss all the necessities with you and take great care in making sure you have a pleasant treatment. All while you have some delicious tea and a coockie. The treatment itself is what you could expect from a professional: it's professional in all ways. It is 20€ for 10 Minutes Or 20$ In USD. You First Wash Your Feet, and then put them in a tank of fish, which eat and nibble away the dead skin. It sure does tickle, but the end result leaves soft skin with no peeling. You Might Think That This Is Unsanitary. However, everything is regularly cleaned and the fish are treated. It was fantastic and an absolute recommendation: from the moment we arrived, Maria did everything to make us feel absolutely comfortable and welcome. The massages by Maria and Azeb were great. Not too soft and not too firm and today, a day later, we still feel totally relaxed. The sauna after the massage was also very nice as a finale, the room is beautiful and the sauna right in there. We enjoyed reflexology combined with a foot massage, as well as a full-body massage with hot stones – and every moment was simply perfect. Anna and Kavika were very professional, made us feel comfortable and relaxed, and tailored the treatment exactly to our needs. The place itself is clean, well-maintained, and has a calming atmosphere. Plus, the prices are very reasonable for the high-quality service. The marble room in the picture is the Hammam and it's a steam room where you cleanse yourself with special soap and gloves (or have them do it). Then you rinse yourself with the cooling waters from the buckets that you see around the room. This is a must do. The other must do is the "Yavrum" leg massage. It's a fun bubble experience that you will not soon forget. The olive oil massages are nice way to moisturize after all that soaping and steaming. But beware the male masseuse can be pretty rough. The women are much more gentler. So plan ahead for what you can handle. The staff was really nice and it was a great experience. They even gave you some tea to sip on the balcony afterwards. - Marion056893 contributionsNikos is a very welcoming, respectful and excellent massage therapist. He makes his sessions -even the MOST painful ones - be good fun and strives to make his clients feel better. Choose wisely your treatment. I chose deep tissue massage which may not be everyone's cup of tea and ended up going twice in a week, as I really wanted to tackle some back problems I've got. Nikos helped me a lot and gave me some valuable advice on my condition and carry on treatments abroad in order to improve my posture. Niko, you will be please do know I am starting again next week :)
Definitely a must go in Athens! Brilliant location, you can go and visit Acropolis and Plaka immediately after the massage treatment.
As I was exiting the second time, I encountered my very first fox making its way to Acropolis hill :)

My husband and I were visiting Greece and stopped here for the couples VIP experience. It started with a same room massage which felt amazing! Then afterwards, we went to the steam room for an hour and had our "bath" together. It was very romantic and extremely relaxing!
