What travelers are saying
- Mari-Liis STallinn, Estonia10 contributionsThe prices can be high but I found them rather reasonable. I bought some adidas sweatpants for 16 eur and also got a hilfiger sweater for 12 eur. The staff was very friendly.Written October 27, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- WendyPhiladelphia, PA16 contributionsIf you are growing wary of the Plaka and the repeat of cheap tourist items, Amorgos is an oasis. From the outside it is both intriguing and imposing. My cousin and I were worried it would be too pricey, but we each bought very meaningful and reasonably priced unique gifts for friends there. I particularly enjoyed the hand-painted puppets and punched tin good luck trinkets. You cannot take photos inside though. (They wouldn’t do the shop justice anyway!)Written April 29, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- phat_dawg_21Alpharetta, GA12,262 contributionsThis was the equivalent of today’s shopping mall. The merchants had their stalls in this covered area with enclosed storage rooms behind. Today the enclosed area holds the museum.
The open area that was the market now holds a lot of statues that were once in the Agora.Written October 5, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Marcvaio2 contributionsI visited Monastic Art Athens store on 24th of May when I was on my visit to center of Athens. I was looking for quality Byzantine art. So I found through trip advisor this really unique store with unique piece of art inside! The variety of Byzantine icons is really huge! Plus you can purchase monastery bio products, olive oil, monastic honey etc. Totally recommended! Great experience!Written June 8, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- decofredRockville, MD1 contributionLike most of the "antique/collectible" shops in greece this really is not worth going to. I have been an avid antique collector for most of my life, and I will tell you there really is not much in this shop worth buying, much less taking your time on vacation to look at.Written June 14, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
