It's divided into many smaller areas so you occasionally come across courting couple or people sleeping which can feel a bit awkward. Some interesting trees including a huge, old Ginkgo. - Jo MStrood, UK239 contributionsWe noticed a beer tour online which visited here so decided to try it on our own one evening. It has a huge choice of beers for both drinking in and taking away - whatever your palate.
When we visited they had two types of Vault City sours which are my favourite beers and are normally hard to get hold of in the UK (where they're made) let alone in Portugal. My husband loves West Coast IPAs and the barmaid was quick to offer him a taste of the selection on tap. If you love your beers this is definitely the place to call in. The one thing which made us move to another bar was the choice of music. At the time we were there they were playing an entire album by Opeth which is progressive metal. This is an acquired taste and not something we wanted to listen to even though the barmaid described it as "melodic".
Despite the musical choice we would recommend you visit here as they may be playing something different. Our group was about 16 people and we had a great time all together - lots of laughs and great wine and port. They ended up showing us the different bottles of spirits they'd used so we could learn more about the mixes. We'd definitely go back if we're ever in Porto. The Chef's Welcome dishes blew us away and our table was located by the windows with a lovely view of both the garden and the prep table.

- Chris FPortland, OR7 contributionsit was closing time and the door was locked...we were walking by and this nice wine shop caught our eye!!!...Dinis opened the door and greeted us with a smile, and asked us in!!! He was patient with us as my wife Sarah was excited to see some of our old favorites, as well as some new wines to try, as Dinis recommended for us!! His Beautiful Wife Mariana was very pleasant with us as well, we had a short conversation as they asked about us and our travels in Portugal!!
We ordered some wines and Dinis delivered!! We ordered some more delicious wines for our final weeks in Porto, before heading back to the states!!...
We Highly Recommend Gota a Gota!!!
