His humour and knowledge throughout the day made the whole trip so memorable.
If sunbathing on rocks and swimming in wild waterfalls and lagoons sounds like something you'd enjoy, you will not be disappointed.
The walks are more than manageable and are not too long and contain plenty of shadey areas.

The area was bone dry, so LOADS of dust (at some points we couldn’t see the buggy 20 yards in front) but that just added to the adventure of it all. I was driving and my 9 year old son was my co pilot and he had an absolute blast. Highly recommend if you don’t mind needing a change of clothes and a looonnng shower afterwards. Took us on a tour around the mountains (just like the description + a lot extra), top quality lunch a price awaring place (people from Porto takes the train 3 hours to get there - just to have lunch). Tasting of grapes in the wine yards. The jeep had an open side canopy and top. Our 7 year old loved it and Miguel was very patient with him and catered a lot to him as well. Miguel showed us the famous sights and places and also asked if we wanted to go anywhere we knew of. He booked a table for us for lunch and dropped us to the restaurant and waited until we were seated before leaving us. He gave us many recommendations for food and things to do in Porto as well. - Sightsee597119672481 contributionThis tour was a great day out in the Geres National Park. Bruno has excellent local knowlege, and the groups are small and personal, which made it all the more enjoyable. The kayak, treks, and swims were great fun in this stunning area.
The visit to the Wolf village was unexpected, and being a Wolf lover, it was a wonderful surprise for me.

- stuart dBirmingham, UK6 contributionsWe wanted to experience Fado and had only managed to get to the Museu do Fado in Lisbon, so when we saw this just around the corner from our apartment in Porto, we booked an evening event.
The venue has an intimate feel but there is enough space for everyone, and it's a limited crowd. Also their manifest of 'all are welcome' is true, as there is no dress code, however I kept to smart shorts and a casual shirt as it was the early September '24 heatwave.
The staff are very helpful, and you receive a delicious glass of port wine when you arrive. There were bottles of water available upon request, but there is no bar as the venue wishes you to enjoy the experience without distractions, and to be honest you don't need anything more once the performances start.
There were two performances, the lady in the photo, used as the header for the club on here with the silver shawl was first. I don't speak Portuguese but she had me at song number two! My eyes welled up at her first number, and tears ran down my face with her second song.
The second performer was equally as good, facially expressive with his performances which summed up Fado to me.

- Barbara M16 contributionsAttended this performance on Sunday evening. A well- done video explained the origins and conexts of Fado singing. Two singers, male & female performed different songs. The owner, speaks multiple languages, is a graduate of Coimbra, and sings in a lively tenor tone. Nice port. Cozy setting. Air conditioned.
