This is a big park next to a very nice upscale neighborhood. There are some views of the river from here. The landscaping shows a lot of cafe.

This green space with its commanding view towards Ponte da Arrábida is a good view point at any time of day but really comes alive in the evening when the locals congregate to socialise and watch the sun set.
One key reason why Passeio das Virtudes is the best spot in Porto for watching the sun go down is because it is festooned with eating and drinking establishments. There are two standard bars and two restaurants along its stretch, and now there is the recent addition of the Musa craft beer bar, all of which have outside tables. But then you can take your drinks onto the concrete platform of the Miradouro.
A great spot, don’t miss it when in Porto.

Quinta do Covelo is a quiet park and is perfect for those who seek to escape the loud noises of the busy city streets for at least a while. We walked in the leafy pathways of this lovely park for a short time and found it quite relaxing. It would absolutely suit families with young children, as it has an area for them to play to their heart's content! Worth a go!

We walked around the edges of this big garden and enjoyed what we saw: Nice landscaping and a big green space, a good place to get away from traffic and noise.

As others have said, this is a lovely park opposite Clerigos Church. The laughing men statues on the high benches are great. Definitely a good place to chill for a while.

this is a small city garden in the middle of Porto close to the bus station.
this is not a must do but a place to go if you only cross it or if you are near by

A small but nice park by the beautiful Palacio da Bolsa. It is located at the end of Rua Mouzinho da Silveira. A great place to relax very close to Ribeira. Excellent garden, well situated and well kept. Worth a visit I recommend it.

Leafy and green, fairly big with a gazebo and an old fountain. Apparently it was once the walking area of the elite and was next to a convent. Now it is a well-used public park and a good place to rest in the shade.

We visited Villar d'Allen which is known for its magnificent grove of camellias. The owner, Dona Isa, is an expert on camellias and one is named the John Allen Camellia. The first floor of the house is kept as it was in 1840. John Allen, educated at Georgetown USA, got into the port production and trade in the 1800s. Dona Isa learned the secrets of blending port from her father-in-law.

We happened to walk through this park on our way to a venue and did not notice anything particularly interesting to make it attractive to visitors, particularly tourists, like us. There are a few things one would expect in a local park, like children's playground and the like but apart from that nothing of value to a foreign visitor, at least, although it probably is useful to the locals. We wouldn't waste time even thinking about it!
