My family and I had a very special evening of cooking, wine tasting and conversation with Vitor and Paula. We have many food allergies and Vitor crafted a wonderful meal around all of them! Delicious appetizers of cheese, olives and roasted sausage, paired with a lovely white wine. Followed by hands on preparing of the veggies (onions, squash, cauliflower, peppers, cilantro, carrots, and rice). A great stock is the secret to great including thst fish head saved from another dish. The seabass was chopped and shrimp devained.
All along we had a great conversation about cooking, life, Portuguese history and more. Delicious dinner and a wonderful evening.
Topped off with a sheep curd and tomato jam dessert. This is my new go to surprise for guests.
