    Excellent advice, selection and value
    The staff are very passionate about quality and value for money. We were well advised on two visits and we look forward to going back again soon to get more products. We had no enthusiasm for a sole-house port tasting across the river with all it's attendant hype so we asked them to put together a little sampling kit for our own home enjoyment. 2 whites, 2 tawnies and 2 rubys from their surprisingly vast collection of miniatures was their suggestion. Voila! 6 to sample of different ages and types as a good starter. All for 10 Euros. We'll be back.

    Fun for book lovers!
    It’s beautiful inside, and you can get some beautiful commemorative books to remember your visit. It’s worth it if you love bookstores! We had to wait maybe 30 mins to get in- but if you book your tickets online, they let us skip.

    Comfy restaurant next to a lovely park
    A great place - we were there for São João and had a tasty dinner with excellent wine. The staff was very nice and I probably had the best caldo verde soup of my life.

    Good Shopping Mall & Food Court
    This is a pleasant mall with a huge food court that is actually inviting. Lots of good shops here and it is well-located on Rua Santa Catarina pedestrian area and near the Balhao Market.

    Review of: O Arco da Ribeira
    A very unique way to serve port
    We came across this little gem by chance right on the sea front in Porto. It reminded me of the many boutique bodegas I came across during my time in Spain in the past. This place however specialises in port - all flavours, colours, etc. It is possible to purchase small samples (beautifully served) until one decides which is the best. A unique way of serving (though maybe it is common elsewhere in the city) is a small amount of port served in a delicious chocolate. Extremely friendly staff and spotlessly clean. There is also a nice tapas menu. A must if you're looking for a pitstop on a day out in Porto.

    Virtual shopping trip to Portugal ❤️
    Because of Covid 19, all trips were canceled. I had received a unique tote from a friend from this wonderful store so I contacted Filipe and he sent me lots of photos of these incredibly wonderful handmade bags. They are wool felt and hand woven so durable and it does not pile. I had planned to go here in the fall, so this was a Virtual trip. Thank you Filipe for your awesome help, fast shipping too great experience Thank You,😀France

    Review of: A Pérola do Bolhão
    An amazing shop front
    One of the preserved shop fronts in a central Porto street. It displays its wares in the window. We were told that originally it would have had Hams hanging outside for sale as well. Great to see it preserved and still in use.

    Review of: Gota a Gota Wine House
    5 STAR Action!!
    it was closing time and the door was locked...we were walking by and this nice wine shop caught our eye!!!...Dinis opened the door and greeted us with a smile, and asked us in!!! He was patient with us as my wife Sarah was excited to see some of our old favorites, as well as some new wines to try, as Dinis recommended for us!! His Beautiful Wife Mariana was very pleasant with us as well, we had a short conversation as they asked about us and our travels in Portugal!!
    We ordered some wines and Dinis delivered!! We ordered some more delicious wines for our final weeks in Porto, before heading back to the states!!...
    We Highly Recommend Gota a Gota!!!
    Cant wait to return in April and visit our new friends Dinis and Mariana!!

    Beautiful tiles
    The store was filled with unique tiles which were traditional and contemporary. There were other handicraft items as well. There are three locations in Porto. I believe we were at the Rua Mouzinho da Silveira 136 location. It is definitely worth a visit.

    An awesome little shop!!
    Love this shop, it’s everything a vintage store should be! The girl behind the counter was very friendly and helpful 😊 Store has a wonderful and eclectic range of clothing at reasonable prices. I managed to find a lovely pair of Levi 501’s that fit me perfectly!! I loved the store so much that I also went to the outlet up the road, where I scored an LBD for a great €8. Would definitely recommend this store to others and would have loved to buy more things but I don’t have the luggage space!!
