    Quality Port tastings
    We had a couple of tastings here. The selection of Port Wines included in the tasting was exceptional, and the owner was very knowledgeable, pointing out good value ports and truly high quality ones. The Aged Tawny's were exceptional. We ended up buying a few bottles that we will keep for a special occasions, they were very delicious.

    Owner speaks fluent French, Portuguese, and started speaking in English, so caters to pretty much all tourists.

    Portuguesa cheese, wines and Excellent location in Porto. Superior Douro wines and Excellent service. I will come back every time I visit Porto.

    5 STAR Action!!
    it was closing time and the door was locked...we were walking by and this nice wine shop caught our eye!!!...Dinis opened the door and greeted us with a smile, and asked us in!!! He was patient with us as my wife Sarah was excited to see some of our old favorites, as well as some new wines to try, as Dinis recommended for us!! His Beautiful Wife Mariana was very pleasant with us as well, we had a short conversation as they asked about us and our travels in Portugal!!
    We ordered some wines and Dinis delivered!! We ordered some more delicious wines for our final weeks in Porto, before heading back to the states!!...
    We Highly Recommend Gota a Gota!!!
    Cant wait to return in April and visit our new friends Dinis and Mariana!!

    Review of: Antiqvvm
    Incredible Culinary Experience
    Everything was truly great - from the location, to the service - and especially the food. The Chef's Welcome dishes blew us away and our table was located by the windows with a lovely view of both the garden and the prep table.

    The place is friendly, we had some language problems with the waiter cause we were spanish but he was kind. The food was good, and the ratio quality/prize was affordable

    Review of: Clerigos Bar
    The most amazing people and mushrooms
    We spent my 40th birthday in Porto. The owners of this venue are so very special. They were so kind and friendly. We chatted for ages because the bar was quiet the last night we visited and we visited three times. We stumbled upon it in the pouring rain and we were so glad we did. The music was beautiful, romantic and elegant. We loved the people, the place and the mushrooms so much we have booked another week in Porto in August. See you guys soon Manuel!

    Review of: Winebar Morro d'Amores
    Delightful tiny wine bar
    Just a small niche bar, not posh, but beautifully placed in the older character streets. Gives you real feel of the old town. The maitre-de, Jean-Paul, knowledgeable and friendly. We, a couple of Brits, and a group of 4 Dutch people loved it. Only did the reds, but gorgeous wine rich and heavy….wish now I had done the whites which was supposed to be much lighter. Old did the tawny ports…loved it. Wasn’t cheap at 5 euros a pop, cash only, but I really loved it. Not o place for one drink, you have to chill and have a couple. Dead sweet…I loved it.

    Welcoming and awesome!
    Mother and Son establishment- Mum doesn't look old enough as far to glamorous. They are super welcoming, excellent drinks selection and super clean toilet. Highly recommended.

    Just loved, a great experience in Porto and in Rio da Vila. Fully recommended! Great staff, a nice bar to have a nice drink. It has a very tasteful decoration.

    Review of: Quiosque Bai no Batalha
    Best Wee Spot for a Drink
    This little spot was located just outside of our accommodations. I think we stopped there for drinks about 6 times. Always friendly and so very accommodating. We stayed during the festival of St John and they allowed us to celebrate with them. It was a great time.

    Review of: Cave Bombarda
    Just Opened and Special
    The shopping complex of CC Bombarda is an attraction for local Portugese products. Not into shopping it was a pleasure to find the newly opened Cave Bombarda to while away the time waiting for the shopping aficionados. The owner Jorge Nazera patiently explained the wines from different regions of Portugal and their complexities. While there, a number of his customers from his previous establishment dropped in to see the new premises - a mark of respect of his knowledge of wines. A pleasurable time.

    Winestore with a view
    How often can you go to a wine store and enjoy a great view to the Atlantic Ocean?
    We felt very welcome at this store, by its workers and by its great interior design. It has a range of products "hand picked/selected" by the owners so that we can always be sure to be perfect served. The products are indeed the top quality ones found in the market at very good prices and the variety found is also very good, as you can find wines from all around the world in this small store! Definitely a MUST visit place.
