Such a tranquil and secluded sport far away from the crowds with a jetty for kids to launch themselves off and an excellent restaurant with super tame lizards joining you if allowed.
Entering the sea involves a climb down steps from the jetty or a slightly tricky clamber across the rocky beach but for the sense of seclusion and privacy it is well worth it...Oh - and if you or your children hav...

Gorgeous gardens with fountains, views, breathtaking views, cute kids area, well worth a visit and can even be visited as a short cut en route to the harbour.

If you visit in summer it will be packed with local families enjoying the sun and sea.. Also respect the sea as it can be dangerous but in the high season their are Lifeguards to keep everyone safe.
The kids took that down to the beach for a milk shake and enjoyed that the lower station is unmanned :-) Thoroughly enjoyed it - and it's all free (apart from the cable car and milkshake, Oh and the coffee)

We are a family ranging from 4 to 74 years old and each one of us enjoyed the gardens and the surprises we found around each corner; a Japanese garden, statue, grotto, island, fountains, orchids, huge towering pal...
The Japanese sections are superb, photographers will find so many places of interest, kids will love exploring the grotto, waterfall and climbing and exploring.
