- Jim DrydenRoseville, MN65 contributionsExcellent concert performance of Franz Lehar’s The Merry Widow in a stunningly beautiful concert hall. The private boxes are terrific. You must purchase the five seat box when reserving, but I noticed most boxes were occupied by only 2-3 people and it’s still less expensive than ticket prices at home.Written January 3, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LondonVicarLondon58 contributionsA really high-quality ballet company. We saw them dance John Cranko's Milan "Romeo and Juliet" and it was excellent. A good traditional production with very talented dancers. Sadly the music was recorded.
The Teatro Camoes is a very pleasant theatre, with comfortable seats all with a perfect view. The only difficulty is finding the theatre on the large Parque de Nacoes site, as it is badly signposted. It's beside the river, at the southern end of the site, just beyond the Oceanarium. Seat prices are not at all expensive, and seats can be booked online. You then collect them from the box office in the 2 hours before the performance. There were plenty of seats available for our Sunday matinee (4pm).Written February 20, 2012This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We had tickets for Sarah Millican, it's a nice size and relatively comfortable. The bar is small and at the interval you need to get a wiggle on, or you will spend all your time queuing instead of refreshing yourself.Written July 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
