This botanical garden was amazing and by far better than the Tropical Botanical gardens in Belem. It had a “cold greenhouse” which is a new experience to us. It was awesome and inspiring and relaxing all at once. We visited late one Sunday afternoon. It contained all your usual houseplants, but growing voraciously outdoors! Tree ferns, maidenhair ferns, monsteras, rubber plants. The paths are windy and uneven but this adds to the experience. A must see if you are visiting Lisbon and like plants!

we just kept coming into this park/viewpoint. It is right at the top of the Gloria FUnicular which you can walk next to or pay $3.80 euro to ride. At night it is beautiful. In the day, it ain't so shabby either.

After you have seen the indoor museum, take a few minutes to explore the gardens which are wonderful. They are expansive and are well-maintained. Sit a while.

Although it probably isn't a park you would travel for miles to go visit as a specific destination, it is lovely to spend some time there if you are in the area. Big trees provide shade as well as places for birds to sing and feed on berries. The interesting designs in the tile as well as the flowers around the sculpture added a bit of beauty to my visit. There is a small playground for children.

One morning, there were booths set up with vendors selling their art, jewelry and clothing.

They are nice gardens and the backdrop is impressive on both sides with the river and the monastery but the fountain was not operating which was disappointing.

To describe this as a garden is wrong or maybe I am missing something. I would call it a park! Has a nice atmosphere. Very big. Take a walk, admire the views or sit on the lawn and relax in the sunshine! There are vendors nearby selling drinks, ice cream and snacks. There was a busker playing the violin which was just beautiful. Has a great atmosphere. Busy so don't think it is a quiet place to relax. Generally clean and well kept so don't litter!

A nice garden if it is hot! But be aware there are two parts: a free public garden, small and pleasant and a small botanical garden for which there is an entrance fee!

Nice and quite, except for the peacocks. Only 2 euros or 1 euro for over 65. Though a few Germans were trying to sneak in because the guard was in the building.

Beautiful green park, lots of big grassy areas too, ideal for an outdoor picnic on a sunny day, and plenty of benches too...check out that cute statue near the entrance

Loved visiting the Jardim Da Cerca Da Graca. We started our Alfama self-walking tour with an uphill walk to the Garden. It was quiet and fairly empty. Gorgeous views of Lisbon from the park. There's a small cafe kiosk with snacks and drinks. You have a nice view of the castle from there as well.

Nice park for families, with different gardens, habitats and an orchard and garden with vegetables. It has some really nice areas but some other areas look like they need some maintenance. Although the site announces ducks, tortoises and other fauna we didn't manage to see any. The park is in the premises of the Costumes Museum and the Theatre and Dance Museum so you can either visit everything or you can opt for a ticket just to visit the park.

We do a lot of wandering around when we travel which led us to this place. Even though the park was open and had people in it, the structures fit the bill for my love of the abandoned. Very cool place to explore having no knowledge of the history until we got back to our hotel later that night.

An area with lots of greenery and many artesian wells. Beautiful! Nearby is the Oceanarium and the cable car.

We had a great time wandering through the gardens, and riding on the cable car, as well as enjoying our lunch amongst the fountain area.
