Catarina was absolutely fantastic in the way she made the history sound more fun and digestible. I was little apprehensive as it was my first time travelling alone but my group were amazing people and they made the trip even more fun and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend the trip to anyone looking to do a tour in Sintra!
We had a wonderful experience with Pedro and our group. The tour enabled us to see the beautiful surroundings of Sintra and Cascais and gave us a memorable experience. Pedro was knowledgeable, friendly and took made sure we had a great time!
Nice trip, with a very knowledgeable engaging guide. Anecdotes and jokes are excellently delivered in perfect English by our guide Rui.
Three cities in this way is however a big mouthful and even the extented time in Porto ends as a rushed experience with little time on your own. Arriving late back in Lisbon compared to the schedule can also be expected.
My wife and I had a fantastic ,private ,day tour of Sintra and the Palaces. It is a "must do" when in Portugal. Lots of history, beautiful views, and some delicious food along the way! Our guide Gaby was super friendly and informative. She is very good at her job and you can tell she enjoys her work! She is also an excellent driver! I would highly recommend this tour (and Gaby) to anybody!!
I would highly recommend this English speaking tour. The entire trip was about 9 hours from start to finish and we had plenty of free time to enjoy Sintra, Pena Palace and Cascais. Our tour guide Alex was incredible; very knowledgeable, funny, and kind. My son and I really enjoyed Sintra, especially the trip to Regaleira.
One of the best tours I’ve been on. All due to our knowledgeable and helpful guide. An absolute pleasure. The views were fantastic and learning the history of the Sintra and the surrounding area made this the perfect introduction to Lisbon. I can’t imagine a visit without such an engaging guide. Thanks so much. Noono!
We had a very pleasant tour with Francisco. We started with the famous tram. We got a detailed explanation about the history of Portugal/ Lisbon with the associated buildings. On the boat over the Tagus we saw the Ponte 25 de April bridge up close and got off in Belem. There we saw the Padrao dos Descobrimentos and Jeronimus - Monastery from the outside. We can recommend this tour to everyone. Everything was well organised. Francisco is a very nice person who knows a lot. Gave us a lot of piece of advice where we could eat, what we definitely had to see. Francisco thankx.
Our guide Nuno was the best. An excellent driver in a brand new van filled our day with history and humor. Fatima was a wierd place that had a spooky feel. Nazareth was a WOW. We saw "the 100 Foot Wave" documentary and were hoping to see a giant wave, but the ocean was like glass. The town provided a great, cheap seafood dinner and scenery. Obidos was a surprise. A beautiful little walled village. An excellent tour. As good as it gets.
Our guide Diogo was extremely knowledgeable about the city’s history. He was efficient in taking us around the city and pointing out all the major highlights of Lisbon. He was able to answer our questions and we were able to learn so much of the very rich history of the city
We had a wonderful day in Sintra under the very capable leadership of Gonzalo! He was SO knowledgeable about the places, history, and culture. Not only did we enjoy the lovely places, we learned so much and fell in love with Portugal and the Portuguese people. Gonzalo recommended great restaurants for lunch, and "must try" foods of the region. One of my favorite days of our 3 week vacation. I highly recommend this all day trip, but be sure to wear good walking shoes...we walked almost 8 miles.
