What can I say about this charming city? It’s a fairytale town. So much charming architecture. Bridges, canals, the three towers. The town squares large and small. Great restaurants every five steps. You can’t go wrong.

A must see if you are in Bruges! Luc is amazing and has a way of making you passionate about the harp and its history even if you have no beforehand knowledge.

This big open square is one of the prettiest places in this lovely town. The collection of old buildings around the square is classic and gorgeous. And you will find plenty of places to eat.

Our tour guide told us he was having lunch here. What a terrific recommendation. The beers were tasty. We had the Zot Blond. We had a delicious Flemish beef stew and a wonderful charcuterie plate. Prices were reasonable. Service was excellent

Not a destination that will take you significant time nor one I would say you must prioritize unless you are a devout catholic, this small church is free to the public and runs on donations. Inside you'll find a lot of things typical of a church. However, what is unique is the opportunity to queue up to see an artifact which is said to be the Blood of Christ. It is presented for viewing daily, guard by a priest. The hours variety a bit by the season but are clearly posted in multiple languages.

Beautiful & serene. Enjoyed our walk around the park & lake. The swans are just beautiful too!!
Would definitely recommend if you have the time. Easy walk from city center.

We were wandering the town during our only day here and came upon this very pretty square. Good place for coffee or eating, or just to take some photos. Part of the gorgeous old city.

The more popular name of this sight is Begijnhof, which were built to house women of the lay order, called Beguines. To reach this place you must walk 10 -15 minutes from the city center towards Minnewater lake ("Water of Love") - one more beautiful place.
Begijhof has several sight here. We came here to visit the museum go get a sense of Beguine life. According to our guidebook, the museum was supposed to be open every day except Sunday, but this turned out not to be the case. On the contrary, it is only open on Saturday and Sunday. Fortunately, the Benedictine nuns gather at 11:55, proceed though the garden (almost every day) to capella and one of those told us about it. I had the chance to talk with this nice woman in French and not only about the opening hours of the museum.

Also other sight is the church with peaceful interior (was open), with its carved pulpit and tombstones on the floor. On the right wall is an 800-year-old golden statue of Mary, don't miss it. The courtyard (open always, free) has the atmosphere may make you fold your hands as you walk under its wispy trees. And of course, another pearl that cannot be missed if you are here, just south of the Beginhof is the waterway called Minnewater, an idyllic world of flower boxes, canals, swans and beautiful park around.

Stumbled upon this place as we were walking around Bruges. Saw several people enjoying beers on the patio overlooking the water and we knew this was our place! Had some delicious beers (especially liked the Blonden Os) and a pretzal - great find!

Good to see all the history but the tour was a little flat. You have to scan each code and listen and there’s so many it just lost its edge for us.

We also had to rush to make the last chocolate tasting session at the end.

Worth a visit for chocolate fans but don’t expect to be overwhelmed

The church itself is very nice, but not necessary to see. But the Michelangelo statue is a peer of his Moses and Pieta. There is a small charge to get into see the side chapel that houses the statue, and a place to sit quietly and contemplate it.

A good experience that atmospherically illustrated life in Bruges during its height. The VR was especially good, despite being slightly out of focus for my eyes. I have docked a star because of the ridiculous situation in the toilets. Why are the baby changing facilities only in the female toilets? I hate this as a father. It is sexist towards women because it dictates that they do the changing, and it is sexist towards fathers because it invalidates their ability to parent. It is disgraceful that such a prominent tourist attraction should act this way. It is thinking from the 1950s.

It's the city hall and it is located on one of the big squares. The gothic architecture is very pleasing and it is one of the most photographed sites in town.

Another inexpensive attraction in an expensive city. Belgium loves beer and this comes across in the Beer Experience. Your favourite part was the tasting in the bar at the end. The staff were great (as was the beer)

Beautiful cathedral. Stunning. A must see when visiting Bruges. We went Tuesday morning before the crowds which was ideal.
