We really enjoyed our afternoon waffle workshop. It started out with a tasting of 3 different beers and then we made our waffles. Definitely come hungry, because we made so many waffles we could not eat them all. This was a lively class with lots of laughs. Would definitely book this again.
We had a great afternoon with Artur! We had a leisurely walk around beautiful Bruge and enjoyed chocolate, waffles (we went back!), beer, and fries. Artur was knowledgeable about the city history and gave us tidbits all along the way. Highly recommend!
When you have a party of 8 to entertain what do you do?? Well you do this tour for starters, a great way to see some of Bruges, learn lots of history, eat chocolate and drink a beer or several. Hilda was a fantastic guide, even reserving a table and taking us to the wonderful bistro Bruges for lunch afterwards (sadly she didn’t have time to have lunch with us). In Bruges, give it a go, what could possibly go wrong 😅
We arrived at the museum an hour before our workshop and really enjoyed the self guided audio tour. We all learned things we didn’t know about chocolate and enjoyed the narrative and interactive stations. This knowledge set us up very well for the chocolate making session we had booked.
The chocolate workshop was so much fun. Very professionally run with a clear brief to start and good supervision throughout. Hygiene is taken seriously and the kitchen area is clean, bright and very well set up.
The children loved making all sorts of treats and became more adventurous as the session went on. At the end there are bags provided to wrap the treats and everyone left with a large orange bag full of chocolate goodies.
It was our youngest son’s birthday and the team made him feel very special- personalising a chocolate bar for him and giving him an additional bar to take away.
Everyone in the family agreed the workshop was the highlight of our day and likely to be remembered as the best experience of our whole time in beautiful Bruges. Would highly recommend.
I joined this workshop as a birthday gift surprise from my friends, and I loved it! As a chocolate lover myself, I consider this experience to be just perfect. The host was lovely, and the amount of truffles we got was more than enough! I ate them all on my train ride ;) must do in Bruges!
We had the guide with Thom and it was amazing! You could really tell he enjoyed talking about everything! Great walk around Bruge and trying some great Belgian beers.
Alain, our tour guide, was exceptional. He was personable, knowledgeable, and fun to be around. It was so wonderful getting to tour Bruges with a local guide - we even found Alain the next day for his boat tour. The beer was outstanding, and we so glad we booked this excursion!
I had so much fun... Everytime I come here I have such a chill time. The beer is good, the hosts are welcoming, the waffles are fluffy... I will keep on joining these!
What a great beer tour we had with Liselot! She was very knowledgeable, fun and took us to places we would have never found on our own. The chocolate pairings were perfect and made the tour that much more enjoyable. This tour was one of the best things we did in Belgium and highly recommend to anyone - you won't be disappointed.
Our tour guide was incredibly smart and knowledgeable and gave an excellent overview of the history of Bruges while also showing some of the incredible food that Bruges has to offer. The 4 stops which consisted of a cheese tasting, beer, chocolate and fries were all exceptional and helped to truly understand the heritage and culture of the city through food
