Drove up to the citadel and parked easily in our campervan. Then went to find out details of tours. Went on a tour of the tunnels in English and learned a huge amount. Well worth the money ! Lots of history and plenty of parking !!

I came early but the nice lady let me in. I did not know the painter and I was happy to discover his story. The museum is easy-going. Many paintings and drawings. The shop has some nice stuff.

Great trip to Namur to see the Brian Johnson statue. Lovely space set up with chairs dedicated to members of ACDC past and present. 10 minute walk from the transport hubs passing many bars and restaurants on the way.

The museum is not very big but it was nice. I started with the temporary exhibition about the medieval choirs. Then I went to the main one with the treasures from the abbey. Many gold artifacts, small statues and some paintings. It was short but worth it

When I visited, I could not go inside, just view it through a glass window. Access inside was only on a Saturday.
However, what I could see was very impressive. I thought it better than the cathedral.
There is an entry fee and one can pay for a guided tour. There are steps up to the front.

Good playground, for children between 3 and 12 or so. There is a bar with reasonable prices for food and drinks. Would definitely recommend!

Nice square in the old part of Namur. It's dominated by the building of Palais des Congres. The name comes from the past - square of arms was the gathering place of a small troop and a central space hosting important ceremonies of military life.

It is an imposing building, as you walk through a car park at the front, to the main entrance at the right hand side.It is free admission, however on a Thursday afternoon you can pay €3 (or free to students) to visit the Treasure and relics. This is an impressive collection, however, I have seen better cathedrals, so it was a bit disappointing.
