Great shopping arcade for window-shopping - and spending if you can afford it. Best of all is to stop for a beer or coffee or even lunch and just watch the world walk past.

The St. Michael and St. Gudula Cathedral, also known as the Brussels Cathedral is a striking building. Relatively plain on the inside, but with beautiful stained glass windows to admire.

Autoworld, is in a cavernous, historic building that houses an impressive, permanent collection of over 300 vintage classics, racing, luxury, concept and prototype automobiles, spanning over a century of automotive history. Many of them were new to me, being exclusively European marketed only.

You don't have to be a diehard car lover to enjoy Autoworld and view its great vehicles on display. Many are rare and many new names will be unfamiliar, but the beauty, glamor and styles of all will impress anybody.

Overall, AutoWorld offers a comprehensive and captivating journey through automotive history, showcasing a diverse collection of vehicles that will appeal to car enthusiasts and possibly even those who just like to ride in cars.

All I can say is wow! This was one of the most interesting museums I have been to. My husband and I were looking for something to do on our last day in Brussels and decided to go here for a quick visit. Two hours later we were still there! The admission ticket comes with an audio guide which plays the music of the instrument you are viewing. It is a very in-depth museum that explores all types of instruments and time periods. You should definitely allow at least two hours to see everything. I highly recommend this museum!

We visited in September as a couple and pre booked the tickets online.
Well worth a visit, the dinosaur hall is a must see!
We got there as soon as it opened, glad that we did as it became much busier midday/early afternoon. They also have a great cafe onsite selling various food and drinks

After the open there was a bigger queue. Not every important Magritte paintings were there, it is bit disappointing, but I think it was worth to wait for it.

    Lovely church - worth visiting

We loved the view inside and outside

There's also a lovely (extremely) well manicured garden across the street

And the neighborhood there is fun

The catch all name maybe a bit juvenile, but this is an excellent and thoughtful museum. We found the experience easy to navigate, well annotated in 3 languages including English, and light levels only dipped to protect exhibits. There is a good, wide ranging collection of locos and rolling stock, many 'step on' or 'pass through.' The side displays of memorabilia, including models, uniforms and the poignant looping footage of WW2 transportation were all excellent. A great way for any rail enthusiast to spend a couple of hours plus.

As a source of local heritage and information Train-Word compares well to York. The only room for improvement I could see would be more interaction for younger visitors, although the two hi-vis jacketed primary school trips going around when we were seemed to be enjoying themselves .

It is a great opportunity especially for young people to learn about the EU and the details from the beginning until today.

What a brilliant museum, very interesting to look around and for the price is a bargain as it’s jammed packed with so many artefacts. It was also fascinating to learn about Belgium history. Would really recommend.

This was such a cool museum! The amount of nostalgia i got was amazing. They have a lot of different sections of toys and i loved that! It’s easy to look at, some of the vitrines were pretty dark so you couldn’t really look into them but it still was good! I definitely recommend!

Overwhelming! We managed to get tickets for the very short opening period which is normally from mid April to the frist week of May.

We passed by this huge building a couple of times in a cab and in a bus and it was striking because of its scale and because of the garden in front. Security forces around, of course. Not sure how much you can see inside.

Beautiful house with lovely design & furniture. However it would have benefited from something to bring the exhibits to life. Didn’t get a feel for Horta himself or other residents.

The house was being restored when we were there & some of the descriptions did not match the contents of the rooms which was confusing.
