Everything was great, from the mission and clues to the decoration, and of course, our game master Luka who was fantastic. - Alinsche K1 contributionMy daughter and three of her friends (all 13-14 years old) did The Cunningham Affair on their own and had a fantastic time! They said it was kinda scary & full of surprises but really really fun. The welcome was very warm and easy-going and the staff was super friendly. (I got the impression that they had a lot of fun with the shrieking, laughing girls!) All the explanations and guiding was in English so the girls felt very well taken care of (not all of them speak French). The venue is easy to find and is close to Grand Place and Gare Centrale. So I was able to just drop them off and go off on my own for a stroll through the antique and second hand shops in the Marolles. I would definitely recommend this for teens and adults -- if they can take it :-)Written April 6, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - bonshuiDundee, Scotland19 contributionsAmazing experience for my kids - they totally loved it. Teenage son played a VR version of a first-person zombie shooter. 7yr-old played an astronaut simulation and a more kid-friendly shooter. Then together they played a Skyrim-type wizards and orcs kind of game. Many more games were also available - a variety of kid-friendly and more 'grown-up' games.
The technician guy was very helpful and the kids soon got the hang of the gear. Based on their response to the experience, I would totally recommend this place. I thought the price - 30 Euro each for 1hr - was good. (The nearest VR place to me in the UK charges ÂŁ40/hr)Written October 16, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Both are fairly easy (Art Challenge is the easier of the two), but take you to different parts of central Brussels, and get you to look at and focus and things you'd otherwise probably miss. That's really the best part of these games -- it's a great way to discover the city. And as escape games generally, these are just fun and a great way to work together to solve puzzles. Strongly recommend!
Brief note if you use the English version: the translations are good and read very well, but they can trip you up. We happened to be doing this with both EN and FR books and noticed several such cases. For example, you may see instructions to go through "the door", translated from the original "la porte," which is actually referring to a gate, not a door (porte can mean both). A suggestion to the organizers is to ask either the translator or a native EN speaker with strong FR skills to walk through the translated puzzle and note these adjustments.Written April 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
