Our favourite place in Brusells. Visited several times over the course of the trip. Drink selection brilliant and service up there with the best. Something for everyone and a great atmosphere in the basement. Will be back again someday!

Shortly after we arrived in Brussels and freshened up at our hotel, we went walking through the Grand Place and by the Manneken Pis when we spotted this quaint pub with colorful bicycles on the building and an outdoor patio. We ordered our first Belgian beers...took a couple of tries to find brands that suited our taste and went with our Pate du Campagne and Jambon & Fromage plates. Service was pretty good, despite being short-staffed. We heard that this establishment has an historical collection of local Brusselsiana and breweriana and more. We found it quite interesting to see the historical memorabilia.

We were unable to get tickets for the evenings show, however that did not stop us enjoying a couple of beers at the fantastic bar.
They have a great selection of local and national beers, and the pub snacks were lovely - we went for the local cheese and sausage with bread and chutney.

Needless to say this pub quickly became our favourite spot for a drink and relax.

    Really recommend.

It supposed to be the oldest bar in Brussels. They have big selection of draft and bottled beers as well as some quick bites. The ambience ans staff looks very old school, which gives this place an additional charm. The prices are reasonable, and the service is quick.

My first private karaoke experience, it was great fun! There were four of us in a booth for two hours at a reasonable price. You could choose pretty much any song, and create a playlist. There were light and smoke effects too. You could take as many photos as you liked using the webcam, which were sent via mail afterwards. The booths were also very soundproof, so don't worry about your neighbours listening in...

I have been living in Brussels for over 30 years, but this has never been my hood, How wrong I was. Everything was perfect and I highly recommend this place, except maybe if you are looking for a place to hold a romantic candle light dinner

Brussels is packed with historic taverns and bars none more so than Le Fleur En Papier D'Ore .
A wonderful bar ,interior is awesome ,it's historic ,a cool looking serving bar ,eclectic decor and furnishings and despite it's relatively small size there's plenty of seating options plus limited outside seating.
We were here on a Thursday night,we ordered beers ( Stella Artois beer ) , these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling,we just kicked back, chilled out and took in the great bar we were in.
My beer was really good ,a light ,hoppy and very drinkable beer bursting with taste ,very easy to drink ,a beer style both myself and my twin brother Stephen are really fond of.
We really enjoyed our beers in here before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time.
La Fleur En Papier D'Ore is easy to locate along Rue Des Alexiens.
Well worth checking out if you're in the area.

Great place for people that like to dance, but hate that fake, lousy club vibe.
When I went, it was a bit crowded and I wasn't really sure if everyone was actually above 18 years of age, but well, there are better things to be worried about.

The prices are pretty good. Cheaper than Amsterdam, London and Paris, bit more expensive than Berlin, Barcelona and Milan.
A good middle ground, and worth paying for, since the atmosphere was really good.

Had a couple of cocktails here one night whilst we were in Brussels for the weekend - the drinks were very good, and well-made. Service was slightly on the leisurely side, but we liked the chilled vibe of the place.

Whenever I'm in Brussels and there's a good English Premier League footy match on I always head to The Big Game ,arguably the best sports bar in the city .
I love the look of this pub,it's huge ,dark wood features ,a solid wood serving bar ,lots of tv's and big screens to enjoy the sport and lots of seating options both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling Rue Henri Maus .
We watched the Liverpool v Everton match ,a proper Merseyside derby ,this place was rammed ,a great atmosphere, didn't know Brussels had so many Liverpool F.C supporters ,we stayed on beers from Alken Maes Brewery ,served iced cold ,it was just so good being in such a fantastic and vibrant bar enjoying iced cold beers and watching a pulsating football match in which Liverpool F.C run out the winners .
We really enjoyed our time in here,we had a great time before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time.
The Big Game is easy to locate along Rue Henri Maus ,in an area teeming with pubs, bars and restaurants and some great architecture such as the Bourse Building.
    Opening hours are;
Monday to Sunday ,midday till 6am.well worth checking out if you're in the area.

The international idea of an Irish pub, at a very centric spot. Good service, not too crowded on a week day, and a good recommendation on local beers.

Very pleased with the service and range of beers and fair prices. Just off Grand Place on a corner where it's nice to sit and people watch or sit inside as we did. The landlady was very warm and engaging with customers and helped advise with people looking for drink suggestions. Lots of Belgian beer signs and stuff to look at over the walls and ceiling, They do the sample trays in various options which many people were enjoying.

We’ve been coming to this ‘down the ally’ pub for ages... and it’s undergone a metamorphosis. Gone is the quiet drink in the traditional surroundings... now the bar is packed and playing music.... it’s not an unpleasant change... but it’s certainly different from the traditional bar.
