For Art lovers, the pace is very nice and I’d recommend that you use the mobile application for a more pleasant tour. The gift shop is also of ok prices and offers some nice souvenirs.

The museum is actually 3 exhibits in one - the main attraction is Escher, but the secondary and tertiary exhibits of the palace itself along with the fascinating chandeliers is worth the 11 Euros. You can spend a couple of hours here looking through the eclectic exhibition.

Walked by on a Sunday, but unfortunately closed for the moment (probably) due to COVID19. The coffee stand at the beginning was open for business. But all the other eateries looked shut. Still, one of the landmarks of Scheveningen. Well worth a visit in better times!

It is a beautiful experience with the sea on one side and the whole city on the othe side. Little scary, when winds are heavy and your car is slightly shaking. But worth a try.

Absolutely the best car museum of the world, but probably not only among cars. Perfect setting, perfect exposition, great arrangements. Must see and visit!!!

What a treat this visit was!!!! The museum is very interesting to visit,- but the 140 years old huge 360°-panorama-oil-crayon painting is absolutely stunning. Never seen anythong like this before! And the friendly and competent guidance by staff employees was phenomenal!!!! Thank you!! Keep up the great work in this so special place! It's a must-see to all visitors of The Hague!

Cosy little museum, where one can see how fishery was done some hundred years ago. Twice a year there is the possibility to buy shells from all over the world from some (inter)national sellers, whole year through you van buy shells from the stock the museum has in the shop.

Clingendael is possibly one of the most beautiful estates in the Netherlands. The 16th century traditional manor and its surrounding gardens make for a gorgeous destination. Clingendael refers to valley between (in) the dunes. And what an amazing valley it is with the landscaped gardens and the lush undisturbed natural forest areas. The Japanese Garden happens to be the best and most delicate sections of this place.

Cheap way for the kids to spend an hour. Plenty of fun things for them to do. Parents can relax just outside or go inside if they have really young children.

Already wrote a rating for the Our Lady of Lourdes Cave, Scheveningen center. Did you know this particular location was the exact place where in ancient times the fisher women came together to pray for their men. That they could return unharmed from their fish catches in the North Sea. When the municipality wanted to remove this place, precisely these people, men and women from Scheveningen, protested successfully to keep the place. The RK church became a place for events and meetings, thought the Lourdes Cave it was retained for what it is intended for. I do come here for a very long time. And know that you can experience everything just around the corner, happy visit!
