It is located just minutes from the city center. There are plenty of shops, food options, coffee shops, and convenience stores. Very well organized.

I think this is the most iconic symbol of the city. I didn't really know Rotterdam before visiting it and except Erasmus, this is the first thought I had when I heard Rotterdam during a conversation or a News. I just saw it from far, but I'd like to cross it in order to see the strength of the wind.

We read the advice to go up to the top of the tower to see the 360° view and I have to admit it was worthy it. I could even see the industrial port. The price was 12,5€, not so cheap, considering we couldn't visit the last level of the tower because of maintenance.. that's a shame..!

I just chanced upon this place during a stroll. Very insta-friendly and had a nice lunch nearby. Seemed very popular with locals too.

I walked down this street en route to the various museums. Lots of shops, bars and restaurants. Has a nice vibe and I suspect is even better at night

We only visited the 2nd floor which is the part if the exhibition dedicated to younger kids. It sure was a success, especially the interactive, martime themed playgrounds (indoor and outdoor).

    Rotterdam, just in mini.
It was pretty fun looking at the miniature house, people etc.
Even more so when you recognize the places you actually visited.
Bought the combiticket with MiniWorlds Rotterdam.

While I'm sure like most of Rotterdam's activities it's better in Summer, the old harbour has a lot of charm. There are historical ships parked up as part of the maritime museum that you can see 'for free' from the outside.

Very cool to wander through and snap pics.
