My husband, daughter and I loved this so much we asked if we could schedule a food tour with Fusina. We were lucky! The next day she took us to several shops and introduced us to many local dishes we would have never found without her. Fusina made all this so fun! Being able to hang out in her home and enjoy a relaxed and informative conversation with her ranks very high on our list of favorite things we did in Amsterdam. The view from her home is stunning and historic! And, it should be said...The pancakes were delicious. :)

- Diane C6 contributionsWe just returned to the US from our trip to Amsterdam and river cruise on the Rhine. Of all the great experiences we had we rank among the highest our cooking class with Chef Eliane. Chef Eliane, as a Michelin rated chef and her numerous years of experience clearly demonstrated the depth of her knowledge/experience as she guided us through an unbelievable cooking experience. She answered all our questions, provided a foundation for understanding the process of cooking and, most surprisingly did so with patience and coaching. She was so respectful, she invited discussion from us (and I am truly an amateur), yet never talked down to me. She is a professional of the highest level. Additionally, the class was fun, as we laughed and joked throughout. The atmosphere was relaxed and elegant. I am so pleased with her teaching abilities and skill that I’ve invited her to teach a class in my home the next time she is in the US. I will have no trouble filing my kitchen as my friends are clamoring for an experience with Chef Eliane. Thank you again. The experience felt very authentic - it took place in Eliane's apartment - and we learnt a lot about the process and origin of both the wines and the cheeses. Eliane is very knowledgeable about the culinary world and answered all our questions. She sources all of the cheeses and wines from small and local farms, and the quality of the products we tasted was exceptional! The setting, intimate and friendly, also felt very professional. Eliane was a welcoming host and we enjoyed hearing about her previous experiences as a Chef in France. I had a great time making cocktails. Your craftings are delicious 😋 and dangerous (hardly taste any liquor but it was definitely in there!)🍹 Thank you for the fenomenal evening, it was really fun and I learned a lot, not only on how to craft cocktails, but also about the history of different kinds of distilled drinks! The intimacy of your home makes it quite enchanting and unforgettable ❤️

David is genuinely passionate about it and explains all about it in a really captivating manner. I attended the event with my husband, we both learned a lot about history, key ingredients of Indonesian cuisine, as well as about cooking techniques during the workshop. David nicely directed us throughout the cooking process, taking over when there was a chance we would do something wrong, so in the end there was no chance we would ruin the dish, and all of the resulting dishes were mouth-watering!
