    Review of: Cigaragua
    Premium Nicaraguan cigars in Amsterdam
    The shop/lounge is located near the city center of Amsterdam (several tram stations are nearby) and specialises in premium Nicaraguan cigars. They have a big and well-stocked selection of great cigars. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly - their recommendations for me were on point. If you want to smoke your cigar in the lounge, they charge 5 Euro per hour, but drinks are included, and the lounge has a very relaxing atmosphere.

    Review of: Bonebakker Jeweler Amsterdam
    Memorable experience, beautiful jewelry, excellent service
    I recently picked up my custom designed ring from Bonebakker, and I was so happy on how much more beautiful it was than I could have ever expected or imagined - so I needed to rush to write this review. I highly recommend Bonebakker for anyone who is looking for fine jewelry and custom made designs. Don’t be intimidated by the store, they have a lot of jewelry with different price points and even if you are not ready to buy the store is just good for some jewelry eye candy.
    Prior to visiting Bonebakker I went to about 10 different fine jewelry shops to look for an engagement ring. Walking in I already could tell there was something different . They have very personal/professional service and Aron was very knowledgable about fine jewelry, without pushing to sell. They are kind of like jewelry nerds, and just love jewelry and want to share this love with others. I learned so much from Aron since he knew so much about the stones, aesthetics, designs and metals- which helped me express what I wanted. He patiently helped me figure out what I would like by letting me try different rings, and let him know what I liked/didn’t like about the styles (I learned I love millegrain, I had no idea what it was until then). We then looked at a few loose stones, so I can understand what the different sizes and shapes mean (I didn’t know a lot about diamonds until then).
    When making a custom ring, they first try to understand what your style is, what how I wanted to wear the ring (I wanted a ring that I could wear everyday so easy to maintain and low profile), and what are my must haves for the ring. I call this first phase, educational and exploratory.

    The next phase is the design of the ring. After that visit, we did the rest over email (I do not live in Amsterdam). Aron and Jannie asked me more questions, showed me sketches to help me decide which style I would like better. The last step before making the ring is to review the 3D designs of the ring, which gives you an idea of different angles of the ring. I have to admit, I was a bit nervous making such a big investment with drawings/3D images, since this is the first time I had a custom ring.

    The last phase is the “ohh and ahh”, or when you pick up the ring. When I first saw my ring, I was so happy since it was exactly what I wanted, if not even better than what I could imagine. I could tell that the stones and metal work was such high quality, especially when next to my other rings. They didn’t set the final diamond, in order to measure my other ring I was going to stack below to make sure that the two rings didn’t rub and ruin the stone. These little touches, and the design of the ring felt that it was made specially for me. An engagement ring already is special, but having it custom made makes it unique, personal and I have a great story behind it.

    Second part of the review. I loved the jewelry so much, I got one of the rings available in the store (not custom made). Again, high quality jewelry and absolutely gorgeous.

    Gorgeous shop; can't wait to visit again!
    Wonderful shop tucked away on the edge of De Pijp! Floor-to-ceiling crystals. The whole place is a treasure trove of pendants, collectibles and rings.

    Definitely worth a visit for anyone who is interested in crystals.

    The shopkeepers are lovely and passionate about crystals so they have lots to tell you about everything.

    Top Photo Bookshop
    If you're looking for a photo book, this may be the right shop. The collection is special. There is normal books but also an exceptional ones. Books with the signature of the maker / writer, or books with special boxes such as the book of Issey Miyake, with his own design bag. Very friendly staff. When you buy a book that is very heavy to carry it with you, they will send it to your house address

    Seriously good coffee
    Contemporary space for coffee and croissant before visiting the Van Gogh museum. Yet another fabulous coffee bar in Amsterdam. Coffee Company, Bocca Coffee and Koffiespot also highly recommended.

    Finally.. children’s clothing with taste!
    Fed up with the limited choice on children’s clothing in Amsterdam - this shop is THE go to!
    High quality clothing offering classic styles with a twist. Beautiful shades and patterns which are hard to find in any other shop.
    Kathelijn ( designer & founder of the brand) is a wonderful host and will give you excellent advise without being to pushy!

    Great service
    It was my birthday treat day of shopping, and Boss was the last shop we visited.
    Absolutely outstanding customer service from the lady in womanswear.

    She asked what I wanted and found exactly that, in exactly the right size with exactly the right amount of smile!

    If shopping was like this in the U.K. It would be much more enjoyable!

    Lovely shop! Lovely staff! Lovely products!

    Down to the Buyers
    Whilst DKNY the world over is the same, the service can differ. Here the service is typical of Amsterdam with friendly staff. You might find items of clothing not stocked in your local store as it's normally down to the local buyer who will stock what they feel the local population will go for.

    BETTER QUALITY
    Hello all, this souvenir shop looks great and is great. The wares are better quality than most and you will be appreciated as a customer. I got a lot of stuff and included an awesome bike bell. Don't bother with other shops, look, but don't buy until you see this dudes stuff. The window display shows you what"s up. Its so close to the hotel, you can get what you need here just before you fly out.

    Good multi-brand store ....
    .... including upscale brands like Patek. Newer IWC brand store next door. The Patek/Rolex outlet on the opposite side of the street. The most complete brand assortment you can find in AMS. What is not available in the shop can be pulled from the other S&S/M stores in NL. Competence of personnel in average good, service, too, with few exceptuons they have been eliminating.

    What else is there to say. If your looking for Cubans in Amsterdam, this is the place. There is others but, they just don't compare. Nice staff and huge selection.
