What travelers are saying
- LiamColchester, UK35 contributionsVery informative and interesting visit - perhaps a little niche focussing on Philips innovations from the development of the bulb to the bolder inventions and technology through the years but particularly interesting to me was the early care for their staff and health welfare provisionsWritten May 31, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Anco MAberdeen, UK712 contributionsI visited the DAF Museum years ago. Visiting my parents this weekend, we decided to visit after it has had a facelift. The visit was very enjoyable. From the original workshop to the (army) trucks, the cars and the racing cars the museum gives a nice flavour of the history of a local car and truck brand. Worth the visit for about 1 hour.Written November 18, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Lee D210 contributionsGreat spot to enjoy an alfresco beer or coffee. Large terrace and ample seating inside or in the covered archway. The serving staff were friendly and efficient. Great choice of beers, coffees etc. We didn't eat here (other than a very good bowl of fries) but the food being enjoyed by others looked very nicely presented.
Would highly recommend.Written September 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews. - waterhousemumManchester, UK46 contributionsTwo adults and three boys -13 and 9.
We travelled through the ages with hands on exhibitions and lots of fun.
The boys tried archery, throwing spears, and games through time.
We tried to start our own fire (failed!) , milled our own flour from wheat using stones, then cooked bread over a fire on a stick.
We watched a kayak being made from scratch which was very cool too.
Small cafe had a wide range of items at very reasonable prices.
Great afternoon by all.Written August 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Steve H2 contributionsReally enjoyed this. Try the lift, which is worth a couple of rides! The exhibits and especially the ‘scratch n’ sniff’ section were really good.Written August 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Tanya DPlovdiv, Bulgaria23 contributionsA stunning architectural gem, boasting intricate Gothic design and a rich history. Its towering spires and ornate detailing make it a must-visit for architecture enthusiasts and history buffs alike. - Josh B234 contributionsNice stadium and good atmosphere inside during the game. We visited for the weekend and were able to get last minute tickets online with a few being sold online directly from the club website.
Worth going to a game if tickets are available, paid 42 euro per ticket, drinks inside the ground were expensive however.Written May 22, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Little bit too short of futuristic expierence as well as latest techologies already in use.
VR was not this real as it can be nowdays.
But had great time there, exploring everything.
