The outlet was really great and although they charge you for parking I think the price is very appropriate. The outlet looks beautiful and the stores are great!

When I visited it was absolutely crowded which caused some queues so I would suggest to visit early.

Great staff nice contact especially on social media.

Maasplassen is an artificial lakes on the river Maas ( Meuse ). The lake is quite big as it is located in both Belgian and Dutch Limburg. We parked our car at the parking place "Isabellegriend", Maasstraat 31 ( free parking ). It is near the water. It would be very busy in the summer as there's a beach and with the strong wind it's good for windsurfing

We just had a walk through the city in the evening. This church was definitely the highlight. It is more impressive than the cathedral (at least from the outside) and worth a visit.

Cuypers was a master architect and responsible for many well-known buildings in the Netherlands. The museum is located in the former residence and studio of himself. In the Cuypershuis in Roermond you can get a lot of information about his working method. There is some furniture and many ornaments inside and outside ( covered area). There is also modern art collection in the museum. It is worth visit if you like his work.

Beautiful and peaceful, parts of the cemetary divided into sections, i.e. jewish part, war graves and children's graves etc., very serene and poignant.

The Gothic style St. Christopher's Cathedral in Roermond is the main church of the Roman Catholic of Roermond. It is dedicated to Saint Christopher. The cathedral is located on the market square, near the river Meuse and the old city wall. Beautiful interior especially the woodwork and the stained glass windows

I go to this pool every summer with my kids. It has an indoor fun pool with flume etc that the kids love. But what attracts me, as a swimmer. Is the outdoor 50m pool. Beware though ithe outdoor area which is massive with 2 pools, diving pool and play area, is only open when the temp is above 21c. It’s very close to the Mcartgur Glenn complex in roermond if you want to combine a visit

Pierre Cuypers deserved a statue in his birthplace, Roermond. He restored many monuments or churches but his most famous work are The Rijksmuseum and The Central Station, both in Amsterdam. The statue is located in the area of the Munster church.

I went to this shopping centre for the supermarket, and decided to walk through it. It doesn't have that many shops and it's incredibly hot inside during warm days. No airco in the centre itself. Due to corona the adventure golf was closed.

The National Indies monument is a memorial monument that commemorates the more than 6200 Dutch soldiers who died in the battle in the former Dutch East Indies and New Guinea in the period 1945-1962. Two columns with a dove on the top and a fountain with two water buffalo's heads and behind this object are eighteen triangular stainless steel columns, memorial tables with plaques and a bronze bust of a general. It's located in a well managed park, "National Remembrance Park" in Roermond. Not far from this monument there is another monument, "Monument voor Vredesoperaties" (Monument to Peace Operations). This monument was erected in memory of the Dutch soldiers who have been killed in peace operations since the start of the Korea War in the service of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The monument gave a big impression and also a question "Were the military and civilian casualties really needed?"

We came accross this marina, a harbour for pleasure boats when we drove to the Maasplassen. Nice to see it with the skyline of Roermond as the background. But as a tourist, you don't need to visit this place except if you come with a boat.
