Revisited this world class museum yet again. Too much to absorb - but always love trying. Plan on spending a full day - or even better - a couple of hours each day over several days. And when you need a break - be sure to check out the attached gardens.

This is a must see for Amsterdam. Very well done. Really helps you understand the horrors of antisemitism from the perspective of a family. Make sure you get your tickets on line on the first day they become available (see the museum website for details). This is the only was to get a desirable time slot.

This place is amazing and very-well planned, if you like architecture, or just an interesting and quirky building if you're not. Either way, it is a must. Other from the building itself, there's lots to see and do in here. You can grab a bite or just a drink, you can buy souvenirs or just hang out and see the place be alive. Very recommended

This is a lovely Museum. It is very small with only 2 floors of exhibits, but it displays some of the best Dutch artwork. The staff is polite, friendly, attentive, and they greet you with a smile. Communication in English is not a problem as the staff speaks perfect English. Taking pictures is currently permitted as long as you don’t use flash and your pictures are for personal use. Check with the Museum for additional information. Length of visit? I would say 2-3 hours. If you go when it opens, you’ll avoid the crowds specially around the Girl with a Pearl Earring. We went at 10 AM when it opened and had to the place all to ourselves for about 30 min or so. I recommend you go to the Girl with the Pearl Earring first and take all the pics and selfies you want while the place is fairly empty. The Goldfinch was also busy after a while…

Much prettier and friendlier than the more fancied Bruges and better to walk around than Amsterdam. Awesome beer as standard in Belgium ;) Worth a day or overnight, and brilliant as a stop on a summertime bicycle tour along the quiet, flat roads of West Flanders.

Utrecht is a very important city. Lots of night life, bars, coffees and restaurants near the channels, full of young people that gives the spirit of the place.
Mix of old and modern architecture gives the place a unique style.
The main streets are full of shops and you’ll find less channels than in Amsterdam.
If you want some peace you will find some stairs that lead you straight down to the channels were you can walk, seat and chill.
There are some little places far frim the most important bars that give you the oppprtunity of having some time near the calmy waters seeing the boats and kayakers passing by.

Great experience here. The guides take you on a tour and comment on the many historical facets of the caves and underworks.

However Im very tall and some of the tours have small walkways which can be annoying.

This was a sweet little museum that would delight truck enthusiasts. The space is beautifully maintained and there are lots of things to see, from trucks, to cars, to models, to documents. Enjoyed it even though this is not usually "my thing".

The National Park de Meinweg is quite big area, accross the border, too and you can enter the park from different places. We decided to take a walk in the silence area of the park. It was very good as there was no one else except us. At this area dog must be on leash

Do not use Viator to see this museum. Wonderful place but the tours got all screwed up by the guide who would not help even get into the museum . Use the audio guide and forget the tours. They ar bs if they happen at all

It is the old Holland image in postcards. It is an open air area, you don’t need to pay to go in, there are diff specialty shops around so take time to visit them and talk to the people.
Very comfortable and calm area, like you were brought back in time and in the postcard.
We went there by Uber from Zaandam, costs approx 13euro. Problem is coming back around 5, we got cancelled by at least 4 Ubers (never happened to me before and didn’t know they can do that 😑) Finally we talked to a taxi driver who was waiting there for his client, and is willing to bring us back to Zaandam for 25 euro, he told us Uber drivers cancelled a lot of the rides here cuz it is a detour for them.
At the end, we walked to the train station which is approx 15 mns, and cost 3euro/pps.
So my advise, prepared for uber cancellation 😓

Simply excellent! I’ve been to many zoos - the variety of animals is fantastic with spacious and interesting enclosures. The zones are all different and all worthy of a visit. Informative text (multiple languages) at each enclosure and good signage around the park. The food choice is a little limited, but the self service restaurant was pretty good and reasonably priced. A complete zoo experience that filled around 6 hours. Very highly recommended.

Lively market on Saturdays. Plenty to shop and buy. There were lovely flowers and coffees, and good things to eat.

This museum has a great collection antiquities, but most importantly it does special exhibitions extremely well. I have seen a few temporary exhibitions here, most recently one of the emperor Domitian. The exhibit included some stunning pieces and was extremely well curated. Good curators really know how to use the display pieces to tell a story - superbly done in this case. On minor criticism is that the audio guides are really old style and need updating to more modern devices. Having said that, they are included in the entry fee ( of EUR12.50 for adults) rather than attracting an extra charge, which is nice.
