Elisa did a wonderful job of giving the history of chocolate, taking us to at least five different shops for tastings, and explaining different historical facts about Geneva. With wonderful explanations of cultural events and celebrations in Geneva, our group was immersed in delicious chocolate and fell in love with Geneva. Thank you for a great chocolate tour!

The place is magical – it feels like you're touching the sky 😅! The tour was very well organized. The only thing that made me hesitate to give the highest rating was the large number of people in the group, which somewhat "dampened" the experience.

My wife and I did this tour from Geneva to Annecy on 29th September 2024 through Keytours (Switzerland). It did seem slightly pricey to us both, especially given it was a half day, but we booked it nonetheless.

We departed Geneva at 9am and arrived at approx 9.45am. Our tour guide Gabriel was very happy and helpful for the duration of a journey both to and from Annecy. He was clearly very knowledgable, ensuring the journey was anything but boring or dull.

Upon arrival, we stopped at the coach area next to the lake, and Gabriel invited us to an approx 30 mins tour in areas of interest in Annecy. We were then given around 2 hours free time for leisure. We decided to explore the market, and then settled on seating looking out at the stunning lake.

I can understand why some reviews show unhappiness at the cost of this excursion, deeming it potentially a glorified transfer due to the short amount of time the ‘tour’ around Annecy takes. However if it was any longer, I feel we wouldn’t have had enough time to explore on our own and see the things we wanted to see. The price is a bit high, which prevents this review from being 5*. I think reducing the price by 10% to 20% or allowing an extra hour or two free time may take focus away from the cost and more on the beauty of Annecy. However, it is very touristy, and therefore you do have to pay tourist prices unfortunately.

We departed at approx 1pm, arriving back in Geneva just short of an hour later.

Overall, we are both happy with this trip, and would recommend anyone that is able to do it, does it - just accept the slightly high cost. It could be done cheaper, but this was easy and hassle-free.

The tour guide Niels is simply one of the best out there. He knows a lot about mountains, mountain climbing, and the local environment, so going with him was by far more enjoyable and educational than an average tour delivers.

Fantastic experience. Loved the glacier 3000 and the stop after at Montreaux Riviera.
Would have been improved by a few things
    1. Late being picked up at bus station. No where warm to wait and was freezing. No clear signs as to which bay the coach would park, just gad to keep checking every coach that came in for swisstours logo and placard stating destination in front window.
    2. Guide did not explain what exactly was available at glacier 3000. We found out we could use the ski lift and go down the lift to use free toboggan slides and a walk. That was great fun!
    3. As we were late we missed another 30 minutes at the glacier

The stop at montreaux was lovely

Overall enjoyed the trio immensely, the cable car seemed overcrowded though

Unfortunately due to the closure of the cable car and train (not advised at the time of purchase) we changed trip to glacier 3000 which I can highly recommend.
The guide was great. Glacier and the view were amazing.

Would check if the add ons are actually running before you book. The trips were still being advertised even though the cable car and train were closed for scheduled maintenance.

Gabor did a fantastic job with keeping us on track for each part of the tour including a nice lunch. He was safe in his driving and patient with questions. The cheese, chocolate, and castle were all great experiences.

Geneva was our first trip to Switzerland. It is a very nice city. Easy to get around and lots to see. Their town was very nice to visit and explore.

My husband and I had a fantastic experience on this private cruise. We were driving from France and hit quite a bit of traffic, so were extremely grateful to Julien for waiting for us as we arrived very late. The boat was comfortable, he had a nice bottle of wine (reached out to us ahead of time to get our preferences), and offered many snacks. We appreciated hearing various facts of the lake and the area, and the nice company that Julien offered. He was very welcoming and gave us a peaceful experience. The lake was beautiful. We would highly recommend this!

With just a short time to visit Chamonix from Geneva, we chose this tour. It’s listed as 6 hours from 8:30am (so assuming to 2:30pm). The “Bus Station” listed as the pick up point is just a bus parking lot with no signage (had to ask bus to bus to find ours). The departure is listed as 8:30am and we were quickly provided a wristband stating 8:30am and 5:00pm return. Itinerary and information only covered the all day tour and various options available (to upgrade if not already booked).- but nothing for the shorter independent tour. We were dropped at a Chamonix Bus Stop (Chamonix Sud) at 10am but no other information other than to meet our return bus there at 12pm. We figured out there was a handicapped shuttle bus at the Bus Stop to the Centre Ville (central tourist/shopping area) for 2 Euros each. We enjoyed our short visit to the village and returned to Geneva on time. Note there were two 12pm return buses with one to Geneva Central Bus Station and one to the Geneva Airport). One couple got on the wrong bus. The tour was as advertised, but it’s all on you to research the area and options available during your 2-hour visit. There isn’t time to visit Mont-Blanc or the train ride or lift to the top of the mountain within that shortened itinerary. We were happy with the comfortable double decker (glass top) coach, great driver, and our guide and commentary during the trip there. I would just appreciate acknowledgement of our short itinerary as wristbands are distributed and basic information on transportation options to the village to maximize the limited time there.

The weather wasn’t cooperating but the tour was perfect. We were able to get a bit of everything and Babis was so fun! The best part was the small town of Gruyere. There were a number of shops and cafes. The train was slow so you could take it all in. What an amazing day.

Issac showed us around the town of Annecy and was very knowledgable about the local history and food. We tried many delicious local treats including cheese, charcuterie, liqueurs, pastries, sweets and tartiflette.

Like others have mentioned, this boat is hard to find so do lookout for small bird sign and try to be there atleast 15 minutes before your scheduled time and not miss this activity. It’s a 12 seater boat and not as fancy or choppy and the captain served us great cheese n beverages. History of Geneva and other fun facts were shared along the way. You get pretty close to Jet. definitely recommend this company and activity.
