- Elvin R2 contributionsWe loved our private tour. Our driver, Marco, checked up un us the day before to confirm our pickup location and time.
The day of the tour he was punctual waiting for us 5 minutes early at the hotel lobby. The car ride was super comfortable, Marco gave us a lot of info about all the places we visited and was super helpful. He managed to avoid the worst of the traffic, gave us a ton of useful advice to get great views, avoid lines and enjoy our visits. He also tweaked the itinerary in our favor to help us see some places we had missed during our stay in Florence.

The accident resulted in an hour delay, so our wine tour was rushed, and we were only able to spend about 30 to 45 minutes in Sienna and San Gimignano. Our tour guide was very professional and apologetic and did her best to make the experience positive. Considering the possibility of delays, the tour could begin earlier in order for guests to receive the full experience. We had a wonderful experience cooking with Alexandra - she engaged the kids and made them feel included and special throughout the process. Everyone loved the food and the adults especially loved the wine pairings and the incredible views of the property. The teaching and food was so great that we’ve made the dishes again at home. Our group had about 30 people in it. There was plenty of time at each stop to explore and enjoy the towns.
