We had a wonderful tour guide named Sabrina who was funny and knowledgeable. It was a rainy day but she made it fun and even arranged a train ride so we didn’t have to walk too far. We could have used more time in Florence but she marked a map with places to see and that was very helpful. Francisco was a great driver!
Very well organized tour and the guide was so informative during the tour. It was a very hot day and we loved being back at the coach. The only downside was that we waited more than half an hour for some late comers at the departure from Livorno.
A bit disorganised at the shuttle exit point. The transfer took about 80 mins and the guide then asked for extra 5 Euro per person for a 90 min walkabout. Unfortunately her talks were too quietly spoken to be heard clearly.
Excellent guide Gabri and bus drivers. Very punctual and brought us back to the ship good value tour would recommend it to anyone interested in visiting Florence.
I think the guide was very funny. She gave us the choice of walking or taking the tram. Which saved us a lot of unnecessary walking. And she was helpful in finding places to go.
Claudia and her association volunteers were a really kind help in visiting Livorno. They offered us different options and let us choose what to do and to see while in Livorno. We loved this indipendent attitude and their enthusiasm regarding their hometown. We had a taste of yummy treats as 'frate' (=light doughnut) and '5&5' (=vegan checkpea flour flan in a bun) and visited the panoramic Terrazza Mascagni on the seaside promenade and the old Little Venice, charming district built on canals with lots of nice fish restaurants. Pity we could not make it to taste 'Cacciucco' fish soup!
I highly recommend their private van services! Francesco arrived right on time at the cruise port and took us to Pisa, dropping us off at the best entrance for crowd-free photos. In Florence, he guided us to key points of interest and shared great recommendations for shopping and lunch. He made sure that we were back on time to board the ship. Truly a pleasure to have meet him!
Frederic (Kiko) was amazing. Very knowledgeable and his recommendations were amazing. In the first stop we fell a little behind and he came and searched for us to make sure we didn’t get left.
Our tour of Florence from Livorno with Maria Clara was absolutely perfect. She gave my wife and I a thorough understanding and history of the city and showed us all of the important sights taking into consideration my walking difficulties. We had wonderful conversations with Maria Clara. This is a tour worth taking.
We were under the impression that there would be some guide narration on our trip to Pisa but nothing was forthcoming. A passenger had to explain how to invoke the free wifi!
Francesca was everything we could wish in our guide, knowledgeable, caring, and engaging. She was waiting on time and expertly took us through the history and present of Livorno. The pace was nice and the conversation lovely.
Wonderful tour with Pierino, who is kind, passionate about his town, and he was easy to understand and to get along with. He recommended a restaurant for lunch.
