Amazing experience with exceptionally talented soprano Laura Andreini and pianist David Boldrini.
Best tip is to buy through Trip Advisor as tickets on door are €25 cash only.

Beautiful, charming, a simple but very well designed scenery, perfect sound and comfortable armchairs. The cafeteria with very good value for money.

We have attended three times, twice for an abridged version and once for highlights. All were marvelous. Like all the positive reviewers, I knew what to expect and appreciate. So I am offended by the ignorant negative reviews that say more about the writers than the performers. How can they review something they've never attended? How can they review something by comparing it to something it is not claiming to be? How can they not be swept away by the immediate presence and talent of people right in front of them? So I heartily recommend "Opera at St Marks." If you like music, like people and like an existential moment in time, you will be delighted. Enjoy. - Greg

We came for an opera our first night in Florence. €20 pp was totally worth it however we booked last minute and had to settle for the 2nd level box closest to the stage. I would recommend booking tickets in advance and sitting anywhere that directly faces the stage. If you are off centered in one of the boxes it is very difficult to see more than half the stage. It is a beautiful place with lots of history as well. Highly recommend visiting here and seeing a performance!
