    Highly recommended
    What an incredible week! I really can’t thank Laura enough. She taught me so much in such a compressed timeframe and with such passion, enthusiasm and insight. Laura answered all the questions I could have asked before I needed to ask them. She helped me spot when something wasn’t quite right - not only did her hawk eyes catch where I’d gone wrong, she could explain to me why I’d made the mistakes I had, and the skewed logic that one can recognise and correct only with years of experience.

    Although I had just 6 three-hour sessions across the week, what I learned was invaluable. It was so fulfilling and joyful to paint again after such a long time. Laura is such a wonderful teacher!

    I hope to have the opportunity to return to the studio for another course/project in the not too distant future.

    Review of: Florence Live Theatre
    A unique and unforgettable evening...
    Certanly an experience to live, different from the usual theatrical performances.
    The "Mandragola" by Machiavelli directed by Francesco Brandi and staged in a Renaissance Villa in Florence will give you a blast from the past in a magical and exciting athmosphera. The actors will take you inside the story by going through different places in the villa , each one designed to represent the scene at its finest. Excellent hospitality and dinner based on typical Tuscan products and good wine. Compliments to the actors and to the director for the original idea.

    Review of: Fatacadabra
    Such a beautiful place
    Long over due review, Faboulous!

    I knew Fatacadabra thanks to a local friend and I loved it! Once you get in you are surrounded by delicate colors, drawings and photos that make the place so warm.
    Add to this the kindness of Natascia and Leonardo and imagine the result!

    Review of: Studio Galleria Romanelli
    Wonderful Gallery!
    I found out about this gallery through a TV travel show. It's even better in person. There's such a wide range of sculptures and with the history behind the place, it feels more like a living museum. I also had a chance to speak with Raffaello Romanelli, very friendly. Definitely put this gallery on your list of must see places in Florence.

    Review of: Robbin Gheesling Photography
    Walking with Robbin
    Robbin was such a delight! I heard about her through the Untold Italy podcast, where she talked about the wine doors in Florence. She shared the beauty of historical Florence, pointing out the old wine doors, as we walked through the streets and also connected with the current neighborhood gems that are thriving today - trattorias, gelato, street art, etc. One of my favorite stops was a local book binding and paper shop, which my friend and I visited the next day for a workshop where we learn the paper marbling technique.

    Robbin is extremely knowledgable of photography, wine, culture, food , and all thing Florentine! I l absolutely LOVED her and would recommend any of her tours. I was so impressed with what she shared about the wine doors, I purchased her book - Wine Doors of Florence, and went out on my own search for wine doors! So much fun!!

    Review of: DC Artisan Jeweler
    Gorgeous and unique pieces
    Found this store close to Santa Croce area. They have beautiful pieces of jewelry most of them unique. Everything is made in the store, they have a little lovely working area. No plated jewelry, 100% 18k gold or sterling silver. They also have a large variety of ring stones, its amazing! Will definitely go back

    Review of: Leonardo HANDMADE Shoes
    Beautiful quality, options & wonderful service!
    Bought two pair on this trip. This is the outlet store so prices are reduced and not all shoes available in all sizes. However, there was a very large assortment in my size- 41, which is often hard to find. What made this such an enjoyable time was Rebecca the employee. She let me try as many as I liked and gave good opinions when asked. Her English is also very good which made it even easier.
