This was great tour, and a fabulous way to explore Tuscany. Our fellow tourists were excellent company and gave us lots of tips for other cities we planned to visit.
There is one caveat: these huge tour buses have to park a good distance from the center city, both in Florence as well as during the tour. In particular, the path from downtown Sienna to the bus is a long hike UPHILL OVER COBBLESTONES. Upon our return to Florence at the end of a very long day, we had to walk some 15 minutes in pouring rain to get back to the station. It’s a great trip, but arduous at points. An Australian tourist mentioned that it is better to look around Pisa briefly and take the train back.
