    Definitely worth a visit
    Definitely worth a visit, plenty of food options to choose from. Best to go hungry!
    There is loads of seating and we gad no trouble finding a seat.

    The prices are kinda average, certainly no more expensive than the local area.

    Tiramisu was delicious and the best I had in Florence, as far as I could tell only one place sold it.

    Good atmosphere and a central bar for your drinks.

    This is a worthwhile exploration.
    You can find a wide array of clothing and household goods there at really reasonable prices. Clothing in abundance. Be aware you won't find high fashion designer clothes but you will find an interesting array of really inexpensive clothing - shirts, sweaters, jackets, socks, etc. I was disappointed, however, that the vendors begin packing up around noon, particularly if it is raining. Plan to be there early.

    Market Tourist Trap
    Essentially your run of the mill tourist trap market, located by the Uffizi Gallery and the adjacent square. Standard touristy goods and a few scattered unique items. Same market you see at most tourist destination cities.

    NDS Equals EXCELLENCE IN LEATHER
    I have visited the NDS leather store in Florence in the Central Market (Mercato Centrale) many times typically 3 times a year.
    The quality of the leather jackets in this store is far superior to the surrounding stores. It can be quite confusing to pick 1 leather store amongst the many stores in the market but this store is the best.
    The jackets are all made in Italy from quality leather and they stand the test of time and look great many years after purchase.
    But most important is that the sales professionals at the NDS Leather Store are kind, genuine and not overbearing or pushy. They will treat you with respect and courtesy and allow you to try on many jackets so that you can make an important decision without pressure. Fadi, Hassan, and Fabio are three of the finest salesmen that I have encountered in my travels to Italy.
    My advice is to go directly to NDS to find an incredible leather jacket. You won't be disappointed.

    Great Boots
    I had been shopping for knee high boots for a few months and just happened to find Diva shoes. They had a large selection of styles and sizes. Caterina helped me find two pairs that I love, great quality and comfortable. They were kind enough to ship them to the states for me since I was traveling for another two weeks and couldn't fit them in my luggage. There is a shipping fee but it was worth it to have these great boots.

    This is a typical market street, leading to the central market building.
    Most of everything here is fake, so keep that in mind while haggling with the stall owners.
