Lovely (hilly) walk, watched the sunset, walked around looking at stalls and a replica of David! Great atmosphere. A must whilst visiting Florence!!

Visually, it's quite striking and in a stunning location, surrounded by the old church, baptistry, etc.

We were traveling with kids - ages 5 and 8 - so weren't able to go climb up as it's only for age 8 and above. But they marvelled at the spectacle of this building so very clearly leaning!!

Got the requisite holding / pushing it up pics and some gelato on a very hot, sunny day. Didn't need to stay long, and headed further afield.

IT is an amazing piece of history that you cannot miss. The ground floor was impressive and lots to take in. We bought the elevator package to tour the roof tops....understand the lift only takes you up. From there you need to climb a lot to get to the eventual stairs leading down. I am sure there are handicap exceptions but in this case know before you go.

I love this rocky coast south of Livorno, and the fact that it is open to everybody: no reservation, no fees, no restrictions other than the parking lots on the road. But please take away your garbage with you. Some spots are rather filthy, cigarettes and plastic bags anywhere. Come on, take care of the nature.

This 3 mile loop gives you a vantage point of both Lucca's outer buildings and the surrounding countryside. One of my favorite parts was seeing the happy Italian dogs out for walks or riding in bicycle baskets. A nice flat walk that is shaded (or at least is was at 9:00am) was a perfect way to start the day.

I read the all Do and don’t before going
It was more than fun I expected,

Let me Sum up a bit to help springs goers:
Summer is too hot for the springs TRUE
but when you soak into the water it doesn’t feel, also there is tiny thin worms
    Like Saffron are harmless

Pebbles on the bottom were slippery but manageable to walk slowly. Definitely hard to go there if you’re not driving
There’s no public transportation but at Capalbio(from Rome)we hire a guy for round trip(train to capalbio then taxi or private transport)
For €210 what was good,Food was okay
I think they were out of pizzas(cafeteria) but it was not a big deal for us(bring your own desire food)

Shower was for €2 for 2 mins

I left my bag in small cave area what was safe NO ISSUES
Bring your own towels, beach shoes
    Sunscreen

There’s small lockers what can hold only few light items Not towels or cloths
So we left our towels and cloths outside

Really lovely town! I loved how everything is so Medieval. There is so much to explore in the town and I would highly recommend you to at least set aside a few hours to explore the town fully.

Went to San Gimignano as part of a day trip and only had a little less than an hour to explore the place. Managed to find a great photo spot that overlooks the Tuscany hills. If I had the time, I would definitely climb the bell tower! No doubt, I will be re visiting this place again when I am back...

Fantastic people, great wine tasting and lunch, and great views. I did something I had not done in my life, I bought a case of wine to have shipped to the USA. Very easy, very accommodating, highly recommend!
