It is difficult to write what my heart feels, as there are no words for describing the inner beauty of the people of Sicily, and the gorgeous island that is my family’s homeland. Gianca & Rosella are the embodiment of our cherished island. This was a life long dream to visit Sicily where my nonna and nonno had once lived before crossing the ocean making their new lives in the U.S. My husband and I, along with my brother, sisters, and their spouses went on a two-week pilgrimage traveling across Sicily from northwest of Palermo to Carlentini and further south; we saw and experienced all the beauty, delicious foods, wines, music, culture, and the rich ancient history along the way of our beloved island. Most wonderful was meeting our cousins, famiglia in Carlentini, it is so meaningful and we feel so blessed that now we are able to stay in touch with one another. “Dreams Do Come True” and Gianca & Rosella are absolutely incredible planners and guides, so professional, personable and fun; we now call them our dear friends.
