The soft wind in our faces, the upward motion of the mountain and the outstanding view of the city, ocean and creation was fantastic. Our guide, Sergio, was so informed and protective. It’s an experience you will never forget. - kintaillodgehotelShiel Bridge, UK2 contributionsThis is a fantastic day out, exploring Sicily on an e-bike. We visited an archaeological site, a village with a great church and wonderful views and had a picnic in a taverna, before descending on a great off-road path.
Everyone (from our 11-year old, teenager and the older kids on their early 20s) had a fantastic time and Emanuele and Vincence looked after us very well.

I stopped in without notice to see if he could accommodate me on tour, and even though he didn’t have anything available he thought creatively to set me up with an bike, electronic maps, train tickets and great advice. I saw incredible scenery, ate in a terrific restaurant and challenged myself on the 35 mile bike ride. When I booked the tours, I had only a few requests and asked her to tailor it for us to see what she felt was important. In addition to touring Palermo, I asked for a visit to Monreale, where my grandparents were born, as well as the Santuary of Saint Rosalie. We learned a lot about the history of Palermo, its people and architecture. I had the address where my grandmother lived in Monreale before immigrating to the US as a young girl. I could not find it on the map, but Cetty was able to find it through our driver and take us there. Salvo was a fantastic tour guide - picked us up, gave us a quick run down of how to drive the car, showed us all the sights, took lots of pictures and videos of us driving, surprised us with some classic Sicilian pastries when we stopped off at the Cathedral and provided us with water.
After touring the city and driving up into the mountains we drove to the airfield where we were taken up in a small single engine plane to see Palermo from the skies - what better way to take in how beautiful this city it?! The pilot was fantastic and pointed out all the different sights. Honestly I could not recommend this tour enough, driving through the streets and alleyways was such a thrill.
