    Great flavours, informative and fun local guide
    Fede was a great guide, really fun with loads of local info. The food on the tour was really tasty, a great sample of what Palermo offers!

    Fun evening
    Giuseppe was a great host. We enjoyed the selection of food and the walk thru the city. He convinced us to eat the spleen sandwich and was an interesting and fun guide.

    Show Up With A Smile, Leave With A Bigger One
    We were a pair of couples who met another couple at the class. Antonio is as charismatic as well as an amazing chef who obviously loves to teach his craft. We had fun preparing what we ate and experienced tastes different from we were accustomed. At the conclusion of the class after all the hugs we committed to a class reunion. A simply fantastic experience.

    Perfect!
    Angela was wonderful! We were expecting the usual 30-40 person boat with dinner service, but this was much more intimate and personal. Food and drinks and conversation, a perfect way to see the coast at sunset 🤗

    Most amazing experience
    My friend and I booked this experience on a whim while in Palermo, and it ended up being so precious and special to us. Mamma Corleone and her translator were so kind and funny. Making the pasta, meatballs and pistachio pudding all by hand was so fun and meant we could bring some knowledge home, as well as our aprons! Would definitely recommend this experience!

    Our guide was knowledgeable and witty. His pace was good. The tour highlighted the main sites in the old town. The food choices were good.

    10 Tastings of Palermo! Loved it.
    We had a great time doing our tastings of Palermo with Dario! Highly recommend. Loved the sfincione and the arancini. Granite, pasta. Caponata. Even tried a spleen sandwich, I didn't love it but kids did!

    Really fun class
    This class was so fun. Our group was 5 people and it was perfect. We did the personalized menu and learned lots of cooking tips and laughed a lot. This was one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you!

    Gracious home chef teaches Sicilian comfort foods
    Graziella was an amazing host and resource for us for our cooking class in her home. We loved the ambiance, discovery and instruction - and the meal we prepared was amazing!!

    Fun vibe
    Great variety of food with historical facts around it. Fun vibe. Loved the local bar where we had a sweet wine. The dessert was exactly what I was hoping for!

    A great Street Food/ and History tour of Palermo. Don’t miss it.
    Fabrizio is very kind and funny. He has great stories of Sicilian culture and he was very helpful in helping us find drivers to other parts of Sicily.

    Excellent tour
    If you are hoping for an experience that is a laugh a minute , choose a different tour. Fabrizio is Sicilian and very proud of the city. You will learn, during the 3 hours, a huge amount about Palermo, it’s history, culture and, of course, it’s food. His tour holds your interest throughout , it’s humorous and the food is excitingly different. Your 3 hours will pass unbelievably fast. Enjoy!

    A must-do in Palermo!
    We were fortunate enough to be the only couple in the class today. Momma and Federica helped us prepare, cook, and eat a meal of panelle, arancini, and orange jelly for dessert. Since my wife is also Italian, they shared many experiences together, and we left with knowledge, full stomachs, and happy hearts. This was truly the best experience we could have had for our first day in Palermo! Highly recommend this experience!

    Awesome experience with Michael Sampson at Sicilian Pantry
    Awesome experience with Michael Sampson at Sicilian Pantry cooking class last Tuesday 3/14/23. First off want to give shout out to his wonderful assistant Melissa for her enthusiasm and instruction also. Started off at Capo Market to shop for ingredients for that day’s meal which included artichokes for frying as appetizer, Sicilian green cauliflower which was later mixed with mixed with currants and pine nuts and topped with toasted breadcrumbs and served over rigatoni pasta. Michael knew the best vendors in the market and that was certainly the case when he stopped by his favorite fishmonger to procure some delicious swordfish that was later roasted with breadcrumbs, seasonal herbs and lemon zest. Add to that the amazing Swiss chard later sauteed with garlic and just salt and out of this world sweet ricotta cream that was transformed into the famous Sicilian dessert of cannoli. Needless to say the resultant meal was amazing as was the wonderful wines offered, the great conversation with the other class attendees as meal ended with home made Limoncello, both lemon and mandarin orange versions. Perhaps best meal my wife and I had in Palermo and trust we ate well throughout our one week stay as this class clearly one of the highlights. Good amount of time spent in kitchen as Michael patiently worked with all of us to make homemade pasta, cannoli shells, breadcrumbs for various dishes with a nice booklet containing all the recipes available at end.
