- Regina H1 contributionI joined the Sunset Tour yesterday, it was really the highlight of my vacation. I spent a relaxing time on the boat and enjoyed the sea and the beautiful view of Etna, Ulysses caves and Acicastello. We had two stops for swimming and got a very nice Aperitivo. JALA is a small, family owned business and because of this, you will get the very best level of attention and service. - SalSickDocKaty, TX13 contributionsVery enjoyable trip, island hopping by sailboat, lasting one week, with plenty of chances to swim on beaches and off coast. A few cons: Limited water supplies. The skipper and his girlfriend , who live on the boat for part of the year, will make sure you don’t overuse it. You actually have to underuse it, or the skipper will throw a fit. Limited electricity use, make sure you don’t abuse charging your cell phone and turning the lights on. The sails were never opened. You might be a little bit too tight on the boat if more than six customers are present. The crew fixes reasonable Sicilian meals on board. We made excellent friends on the boat. - fabiolab5364 contributionsThe worst service ever. The owner is rude and threatening. The car shown is not the car that you get. The driver does not speak English as detailed in our service. We confirmed with them weeks before that we needed at least an eight passenger van with 8 large luggage. He picked us up with a 7 passenger van and not enough room for our luggage. We literally had to drive 1 1/2 hours sharing the front seat between two adults and the remaining 6 adults had to ride with 4 large luggage on their laps. We could not wear any seatbelts. When we said the car was not big enough and not as shown- the owner said to get out and find another ride knowing full well we would miss our train if we did not leave at that moment.
