This was the best part of our holiday by a country mile. Pepe was an incredibly knowledgeable guide who made everyone on the tour feel extremely welcome, teaching us all about the rich history of Eastern Sicily and Mt Etna.
Exploring the volcano and its caves was already an unforgettable experience, but the wine tasting was the icing on the cake. We were only expecting a couple of glasses with a few small nibbles, but this was far from the case; in addition to four generous servings of top-quality volcanic wine, we were each treated to a Sicilian feast of epic proportions, complete with cheese, meats, canapes, and much more. I won't give all of the dishes away as you'll want to try some of them for yourself, but trust me when I say you won't be disappointed.
To anyone considering this tour, you won't regret it. Insane value for an experience you won't be forgetting in a hurry!
