Don’t miss Mt Etna, as it is spectacular, no need to go on a 4x4 tour as we went by hire car, the roads are superb far better than the town ones. They are a bit twisty, but that’s half the fun. Even in May it was quite cool at 14c near the top car park. At 2000m. About 6500ft.

This is a beautiful garden in the center of the city. The flowers and trees were in full bloom in the spring.

Lots of interesting sculpture, and views.

A very pleasant stroll around these formal and scientific gardens. Small but full of interest. The collection of cacti are a delight.

Nice beach club for families. A lot to do for kids. you can order drinks via what’s up. Party feeling all day long. Food at the restaurant was good. Friendly staff.

Le Capannine is a nice lido, but it's quite far from the centre and you definitely need a car to get there. There are some bars and a bistro that has good food with a decent price. At night they also have parties and it's an amazing outdoor club.

San Giovanni Li Cuti is a quaint fishing village a 30 mins walk from the centre of Catania. Very quiet during the day although it can be come very busy in the evening since it's restaurants, particularly Cutilisci, Andrews Faro and I Set7e Vizi are seeked.
A nice way to spend an hour relaxing

Its just by the airport so you can see planes take on. Sand as sand :) as its not season time we foynd it rather getting ready and need a lot of tidying. Still it was great! I bet in summer people can get great view of Etna. The far distance you can see the port Catania. We had ordered some food there which was ok. But nothing special. The staff however very friendly and polite.

Local people, the government and businesses need to sort this out! Have some pride and do some regular beach clearances. Honestly, people lying and walking amongst all sorts of rubbish dumped on the beach or that has washed up. Very sad to see. Especially in this day and age when education about the health of our seas is so widespread.
