    Ortigia Pleasant Boat Tour Small Group
    Ninni gave us an enjoyable 2 hour boat tour with 2 swim stops.
    The boat holds approx 8 people . Bring towel, water and a snack if you like.( we stopped at the food market for some fresh baggets , fruit and cheese)
    There are a few boat drivers but Ninni is passionate, philosophical , numerous with very good explanation of the history behind Ortigia and Syracusa plus we got to see the sea caves etc .
    The boat has a canopy .Two hours went by quickly.

    Stromboli hike
    Our guide Fabio was great! He paced the group well, was informative and inclusive (spoke in both English/Italian). Unfortunately the clouds sat too low and the volcano wasn’t cooperative! Suggestion for the tour operators: be more punctual or at least post a sign of what to expect! 5:00 start time indicated gather at 4:45 - we stood around worried that we were in the wrong place for 1/2 hour… when the operator arrived, we were given helmets and a headlight - completed the paperwork and then waited around even more!! After inquiring we were told we were waiting for another group! More communication and a punctual start time would have negated confusion.

    Best night ever!
    On our second visit to Stromboli there was in our view no other option but to take the nightime Sciara tour again with Pasquale! Yet again all expectations were surpassed. Stromboli this year was even more active than it was in 2020 and a truly mindblowing night was had.

    We did in fact pay upfront for 2 trips with Pasquale in advance - it is that good! - but unfortunately the weather was not on our side and Pasquale decided it was not safe to run our second trip - which having already paid for was promptly refunded to us at a significant financial loss to himself. The safety of everyone was clearly of the utmost importance. This was also reflected when I asked if it would be possible to board the boat from a jetty close to our villa rather than going over to the main port but Pasquale refused as it is far safer to board at the port. My elderly father came along and had no difficulties entering or leaving the boat. We always feel safe with Pasquale, he does know these waters like the back of his hand after all!

    Pasquale's communications by email were amazing prior to our trip and then by continually updating us once we arrived so we could plan our days around the likelihood of our trip running that evening.

    Taking the Sciara tours with Pasquale is the only way to do Stromboli in our opinion. Yes there are bigger boats and slightly cheaper prices but the personal experience cannot be beaten! Pasquale even provided us with red wine & nuts once the sun started to set on the Sciara, such lovely little touches.

    Overall another truly memorable and unforgettable experience which we will treasure in our memories forever, thank you so much Pasquale! We are so grateful and will no doubt be back for a third visit to our favourite place!

    Nice Boat
    Very nice new boat with a young captain. Sad we had cloudy weather. Nice cruise. They need to work on reading the passengers. Bypassing the edgy music. A full glass of Prosecco would have been nice.

    Refund of down payment not received!
    Dear Pasquale, the tour was cancelled (not your fault), but we are still waiting for the 20€ down payment you promised us to send to our bank account. Still not received and no answer from you on our reminder mails (Andreas) since September 2022.

    Incredible experience with total respect for the wildlife
    Really friendly knowledgeable guides, beautiful views and we saw loads of dolphins! A really magical experience and it all goes towards a great cause. 10/10, would definitely recommend you check it out!

    Highlight of our trip
    We are a family of 4 from Australia and and our trip with Donato around the Egadi Islands was the highlight of our 4 week trip in Italy. Donato was professional, kind and friendly and we felt that we were in very safe hands with our two daughters aged 10 and 12. He was enthusiastic and happy to tell us interesting information about the islands using a translator app. A simple but delicious lunch was provided which gave us extra time to explore the islands. Donato also provided lovely wine and premium beer which was unexpected but welcome as the sun was going down on a hot day. We brought our own, but there are rock shoes and snorkels on the boat. It was a full day and we did not for a second feel that there was any rush to get back. We visited a variety of swimming spots and two islands. A wonderful day. Thank you Donato.

    Spectacular day trip
    We spent a spectacular day around Favignana and its beautiful coves and beaches and it was the highlight of our trip to Marsala. Our hosts were wonderful and extremely welcoming and caring. also the food and wine were absolutely delicious. we highly recommend this trip if you come around this beautiful corner of Sicily

    Family boat day
    Closer to the beach and less time on the phone texting and chatting would have made the day a 10. Felt like he wasn’t paying attention to his drive with us.

    Captain Stevan was hilarious
    Captain Stevan was a legend! We loved him. He handled that boat like a champion and was so much fun! He even forgot to tell the kids just how cold to the water would be when they were jumping in as it was his little surprise. Thankyou Stevan you are the best

    Awesome boat day trip !
    We were a group of 48 people celebrating our friends’ wedding and Salva and his team made sure we had the best experience possible in Favignana ! They made sure we had fun & drinks 100% of the time!
    The lunch provided was tasty !

    Not as expected
    We went late in the day. The driver did not speak English well, and barely talked with us. He drove as fast as he could, seemingly to get the tour over with. He gave no commentary at all so we had no idea what we were seeing. He was texting on his phone most of the time he was driving the boat. This was a waste of time.
