    Private tour by Jacko Mount Etna
    Hotel organised private tour by Jacko.
    Brilliant experience, his first Scottish visitors. Very informative about Etna, and took us to different parts to explain better. Also took us to a cave and gave us safety gear, a big surprise.

    We could not have done this as well on our own.

    Etna morning tour
    The trip was amazing. Very beuatiful. Our guide Tony had excellent knowledge about the area and surroundings. The food and wine were very tasty. Very much recommended. Ester&Marco from Belgium.

    Recommended tour of an active volcano
    We would highly recommend this tour. The tour was well organized. It was convenient to have coats, socks, and especially hiking boots provided. We took the cable car, then a Jeep bus, then a long and rewarding hike around the craters. Members of our group ranged in age from 9 to 63. Everyone was tired at the end but it was worth it! I would recommend wearing jeans; there is a lot of lava dust. Don't forget water and bring your lunch; eating on the edge of a crater is a great experience. We hiked around all day and Etna erupted that night!

    Really enjoyable day. Would recommend this tour.
    Well organised & good communication. Our tour guide was really friendly & knowledgeable. Our group was small (10 people) so it felt more personal. Stop off for lunch was a remote family restaurant - food was tasty & authentic. Scenery was amazing throughout. Thoroughly enjoyed the day & would definitely recommend.

    What a privilege!!!
    Excellent experience felt so very privileged to visit such an extraordinary place. Our three expert guides looked after us and imparted lots of very useful information and knowledge.

    This was the highlight of my holiday.
    This tour was the highlight of my holiday!! Our guide, Peter, gave us so much fascinating information, I felt like I was really learning something. Our travelling companions were friendly too and Etna itself was amazing, smoking away in the background. We were given plenty of time to buy souvenirs at the stops we made and the tasting at the end was delicious. So much so, we bought some of the produce. It was well worth the almost €140 we paid for the two of us.
    The only down side was that the information stated we could get transport from Catania to the meeting point for €15, but it was not available on the day, so we had to pay €60 for a taxi. Luckily, our travelling companions were able to give us a lift back to Catania. Thank you to them!!

    The perfect day trip.
    What a fantastic day. Our guide Lorenzo was brilliant - informative, funny and friendly. Exactly how it should be. There is lots packed into the day but it was not rushed. We had plenty of time in all the locations. The trip did not finish until 19:30 so much more value for money than expected. Highly recommend.

    Super good
    Went for the first time on a quad bike tour.
    Tobias was our guide, I did mention to him that I have never done something similar before and he walked me and the rest of the group through some basics.

    During the journey towards the first stop he kindly checked on me to make sure I was OK and he kept doing so through the whole tour.

    He gave us plenty of explanation on what we were seeing and it was super interesting to see and find out more about the Etna volcano.

    Would definitely recommend this, me and my cousin had so much fun

    Worth every penny.
    Lorena our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was, a fun tour only spoiled by the weather. Rained for most of the day, but she brought a smile to our faces. The sights where awesome, with Noto being our highlight. Highly recommended.

    Great trip
    Trip guide (Pepe) was great gave us loads of information, learned a lot about types of volcanoes!! There are extra options with this trip if you want, but was all clearly explained to us. We did the cable car trip and then short drive to view craters, definitely worth it.

    Best tour in Sicily
    Amazing experience and a must if you are visiting Sicily! The guides were extremely knowledgeable. The terrain was challenging but enjoyable. Be sure to wear pants you don't mind getting dirty as It is impossible to avoid when you are coming down.

    Worth every minute
    The drive was ok, not very long, out tour guide had facts about the region and. Mt. Etna.

    When we arrived we took the tour with Dani our tour guide. It was excellent, full of information and with breathtaking scenery!

    After the stroll at Mt. Etna we went to a wine, liquor and regional food sampling.

    THE COOLEST EXPERIENCE SKIING OF BLACK SAND OF ETNA WITH NICE GUIDES.
    Very nice friendly people who have a lot of knowledge to share! Worth the money and an amazing experience. alsovery convenient drop off and stuff, also they have shoes and jacket for you!

    Volcanos, rainbows, cookies, and caves!
    My Mom and I had a really fun time on this tour even though the weather conditions weren’t great. The conditions were even worse the day we initially scheduled the tour for and they did a fantastic job of reaching out to reschedule us for the following day. The communication was really appreciated. Our tour guide, Lucca, was awesome and super knowledgeable about Mt Etna, geology, and the surrounding area. He answered all of our questions and injected a little humor here and there, which was appreciated. Due to the rainy weather, we got a beautiful rainbow at one of the lookout points. Enjoying almond wine with almond cookies in the lava tube/cave was super memorable. Also, the meeting point was beautifully designed with ceiling to floor glass windows and gorgeous views. You can order a coffee, drinks, snacks, and taste and/or purchase their delicious jams and sauces. Highly recommend this tour!

    Amazing experience. Hard climb but SO worth it! One of best excursions ever!
    Fantastic experience. One of the best excursions I have ever done.
    I am not very athletic and found the climb to the top strenuous to say the least. But our guide, Marco, stopped frequently and walked slowly and kept me going steadily to the top.
    I booked through trip seamlessly through Trip Advisor and got a WhatsApp message confirming meeting point with photos which was easy to find.
    There was loads of parking and it cost 6 euros for the day.
    When we arrived we were given a coat, walking pole and a helmet. The coat and pole were welcome when we got higher up as it does get cold. It was 30 degrees on the beach and cold at the top with wind. Make sure you wear hiking socks and a long sleeved top. They will lend you boots but we had our own.
    We chose to go up in the cable car and then higher up by 4 by 4 to cut down on the distance to walk. A wise choice!
    We had to pay an additional 78 euros each for the cable car and 4 by 4. We could pay by card on the day and it included a huge sandwich, cold and hot drink. Great for the picnic we had at the top!
    The cable car was exciting - a bit scary if you dont like heights. The 4 by 4 was a huge bus with big wheels. My husband loved it.
    Once at the highest you can go without walking the trek began. We had a lovely group of mixed nationalities and we all got on well.
    We mainly walked in single file. The terrain was very varied. Ash, grit, lava stones, rocks. The poles were a great help.
    The incline is steep! But we had lots of stops to get our breath back and Marco told us about the history of the volcano.
    We also learnt some Sicilian dialect.
    At the top the sense of achievement is immense and the view out of this world.
    Staring into a volcano belching gas and steam is incredible. And we heard it “roar”.
    The way down was a lot quicker! We had fun leaping down in thick ash. I had to say I fell over a few times but the landing was soft and the only hurt to my ego.
    We also saw one of the older craters where Star Wars was filmed.
    All too soon we were back at the buses and on our way back. The whole trip from start of cable car to back was about 4 and a half hours. With 3 and a half hours walk of almost 6km and an elevation of 425m.
    I would thoroughly recommend this trip. And a big thank you to Marco.
