Beautiful architectural detail - definitely worth taking a walk around the back of the cathedral to see this.

I am really proud of people that involved in this place creation/management.
This sort of park/museum is an innovation that needs to be comprehended and appreciated. It is quite pleasing!
My colleague and I found workers patient and willing with us.
The restaurant there is so lovely: typical tasty Sicilian food with the nicest staff in the town. I have to say thank you to the owner, because he had the idea of creating a modern but old Motel at the same time using his parents'house.
In my opinion, a tour guide that explains the real symbol of the place is the only thing that is missing.
    Good job!

Francesca, the ceramist, is such a lovely lady with an incredible talent for artistic ceramics. All of her work is unique and her attention to detail amazing. She made my wedding favors with such care and artistry that all my guests loved it! She is kind and adorable. She will listen to your requests and make you happy no matter what, even if that means going the extra mile. I can't thank her enough for an incredible experience and I will definitely go back to her for all my special occasions.

This was the third time we have been to this studio!! The first time he made a rose for my granddaughter, the second we bought tiles for our patio table and this time we bought more tiles for our table. He didn’t have exactly what size we wanted but painted them and fired them in 2 days for us. We got to take them out of the oven warm!!!! Now that’s customer service!!! And all that was done with only a little Italian. Friends are made everywhere you go in Sicily. That’s why we keep coming back!!!

We ended up getting most of our souvenirs of our cruise here! So many beautiful things that really spoke of the unique features of Sicilian ceramics and its colorful palette. Cannot wait to give some of what we collected for gifts at Christmas!

Fascinating visit of a traditional cart-maker's workshop, showing the art and artistry behind this Sicilian craft. We learned about the history of the painted cart and then saw how much work it takes to produce them, and the carts on display were magnificent! It's a short drive from the temples of Agrigento so is a great way to round out a day of culture.

At the Gate of Selinunte Park and Marinella Village you find this artistic oasis. The wonderful garden is decorated with sculptures and artswork. You feel right away that its not an ordinary tourist place. The small shop offers everything you usually don`t find. Beautiful wooden sculptures of local olive trees in all sizes. Right next you can watch Umberto working on his exceptional creations. His very friendly wife Ute will guide you to find the best gifts for yourself and friends, all made by local artists or gives you insights into local live of the fishing village.

A few great pieces and some other works of lesser interest. Do your homework and pick this or the modern (1800s on) to suit your taste if time is short.

We purchased a combi ticket for the permanent exhibition and also the temporary Leonardo di Vinci exhibition. First thing to say is that the fact that some of the exhibits are unlit (see various reviews below) you are informed of this before buying a ticket and your ticket is sold at a reduced rate as a result. The combi ticket was 12,00€ per person which was great value. The LdV exhibition explores his drawings and displays them alongside multimedia interactive modern interpretations. Very cleverly done with sound and projections. The permanent exhibition is a wonderful range of paintings and sculpture. Would thoroughly recommend particularly during the heat of the day. This would have got a 5-star review if it had it hadn’t been for some of the staff very noisily chatting to each other and/or having their mobile phones on all the time and not on silent!! Certainly spoilt the atmosphere at times. Nice gift shop. There’s also a cafeteria (didn’t try) too.

Called in when passing & offered a tour in English at 11.30 for which we returned & took exclusively. Fascinating talk by the guide who is himself an apprentice cart decorator. We learnt about the history of the traditional Sicilian carts & were shown the various woodworking & decorating processes. An hour well spent.

This shop is near the castle. My regret is that I didn't spend more time here. I was with a group and that dictated how much time I had to spend here. The shop is beautiful and has a wide selection of unique items crafted by Sicilian artists. I took a card and explored the website. I will be visiting the website for gifts.

My partner loves contemporary art and we came by after seeing Tripadvisor reviews.
Mr Drago is really welcoming and spent a long time discussing items and telling us about artists.
We did not buy a piece but I left with a gorgeous Italian book illustrated by local artists.
    Well worth a visit!

Not a huge museum by any means but filled with a fascinating insight to local artists, both well and lesser known

We found the shop by accident and would recommend everyone visiting not to miss this hidden gem. We were about ready to depart, and three people in our group bought vases. I was so intrigued by some of the designs. The service, including the explanations of the pieces, was top notch. Do not miss this excellent shop.

Unfortunately we were unable to enter the church since it was Christmas Day, however it was very beautiful and charming from the outside. Seeing the photos of the interior, we know we really missed something special. However just contemplating the age of this church, you can't help but marvel that it is still around for us to enjoy
