- LoafJugThouTreeShepherdstown, WV641 contributionsOur VROB overlooked the coastline. The deck was small, but large enough for two chairs , a small table, a bottle of vino and two glasses . . . if you get my point.Written November 7, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

- Sue ATiptree, England, United Kingdom171 contributionsJust the place for a quite holiday, but well located for trips out. Benefits from a mini-market and visiting vendors for those self-catering. A couple of really good scenic restaurants. Friendly people and a lot of trouble has been taken to make the place attractive with lots of pots of flowers.Written October 8, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- despoinaChios17 contributionsA small village at the entrance of the Madonie. We were impressed by its beauty and the simplicity and authenticity of its people. People there don't care about your wallet but after...checking you out , you are part of a family.Written July 23, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- bombaybeautyNew York City, NY240 contributionsGreat charm in these austere Sicilian interior towns. Compact pedestrian center. Not much to see, but atmospheric. And you can always find a decent coffee or bite to eat.Written February 6, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- Citrus-FarmerTurkey457 contributionsOne of those spelndid local churches that make Sicily special. Worth a visit if staying in or passing through Zafferana.Written July 1, 2016This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- GiKosPalermo, Italy2,200 contributionsHeart of Ballarò, this area of the ancient city preserves flavors, customs and traditions of the past. Narrow alleys and small squares with an oriental scent, close to the historic food market of Ballarò, will seem to be in an Arab country for the multi-ethnic presence of the people and for the characteristic flavors that you can taste in many gastronomic places, in a mixture of cuisine Mediterranean, African and AsianWritten January 16, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- GilesPFlint, UK316 contributionsWe visited on a Sunday, when there was a large and lively street market flowing over two of the streets up to the old town. Most stalls had cheap footwear and household goods, with relatively little in the way of food stalls, but we found some excellent bargains amongst the wallets and children's clothing - don't forget to barter! Glorious views of the Parco dello Madonie, but beware driving down the maze of winding streets as many are almost too narrow for a small car, even with the wing mirrors folded in!Written September 26, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- saul gTel Aviv, Israel1,088 contributionsYes there was a Jewish quarter in Palermo . Only few remains can be observed. It's not a must , only if you are interested in the history . You can get a small map and some explanation in the tourist information office at Piazza Bellini .
We have enjoyed the easy stroll .Written May 7, 2017This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - CL-XXIXBrittany, France369 contributionsIn a popular neighborhood full of stories, which does not have a very good reputation, in rehabilitation project. An enclave, relaxation area, has been set up around a bar, open in the evening. Wall frescoes, plant compositions, benches and various decorative accessories bring their cachets.Written March 7, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
