Very interesting to see things from the other side. All too easy to read mafia stories, but the victims perspective is rarely presented

The tour takes you to churches that were the pilgrim bases for three orders of Knights in medieval Piazza Amerina. The tour takes over 2 hours. The guides have a depth of knowledge and insight that makes the history of Piazza Amerina come to life. Don't miss this!!

The town of "Adranone" gives evidence of the times and peoples which succeded in Sicily over one thousand years, starting long before Athens and Rome. The site is still lonely and encourages the visitor's imagination. The staff is kind and considerate, and helps in selecting own's preferred duration for the visit. The visit is actually a long walk up- and down-hill, but nothing to be worried about; unless you arrive at "Adranone" at noon in a sicilian Summer day. The entrance ticket is just symbolical; don't fail - before or after - to visit also the Adranone's "Antiquarium", hosted in a magnificent palace at Sambuca.

Special shop with some extraordinary chocolate. Stands out even in Modica. You get to try some exceptional chocolates - ask for dark cocoa base from Venezuela. Bought some great chocolate.
