This is the most amazing activity you can possibly do. Marco is a wonderful person and an amazing chef! He is this one person you can trust on sight, funny, reliable and a truly Sicilian soul. He'll give you insights on how to prepare amazing Italian and sicilian dishes relaxed and well guided in his historic apparent with a glas of vine. I wished this day never ended. And so will you, book this tour right now you'll not regret it. 🤌

We started in the market looking at local produce then travelled to the restaurant to start cooking.
We made pasta experimenting with different shapes. We then made the caponata a local antipasto dish with aubergine and more!
An enjoyable experience with a lively group of people from all around the world.
We then enjoyed a meal from our efforts! We are now ready to put our experience into practice at home!

Such a great experience. So much fun and delicious food. Mimmo was the perfect host and teacher. We’ve even cooked it all again a week after we got home!

I loved the cooking lessons with Massimo because of the depth of his knowledge, love for Sicilian food and delightful presentations with "hands on" opportunities to make sauces and pasta. Massimo's cooking school is a most beautiful setting and that added so very much to the event. And he has a most efficient and friendly team of assistants contributing to the flow of our lessons and the enjoyment of our food.

This is an excellent and definitely of value experience in Palermo. Michael and his assistant are excellent, kind, generous and entertaining hosts. Wonderful walk through the market to buy our provisions; Michael patient in explaining the various items of produce. The cooking instructions are clear and easy to follow. The lunch with the other participants starts with a wine aperitivo, followed by a sit-down lunch of the dishes we prepared, with more wine, and a homemade digestif! Irrespective of your cooking skills, try this one.

AMAZING! We went for a pizza-making class but also learned how to make pasta. We started with coffee, made pasta, had some wine and appetizers, and then made pizza. After we were done with cooking we sat to eat what we had made with some more wine. Paolo and Francesca were incredible chefs and made our experience so much fun. We would highly recommend it, as this was a highlight of our week in Sicily.

Daniela was the cooking teacher and she was wonderful. The food was so good. Her apartment had the best views for eating outside. The address was a little confusing but we made it. We were told to meet at the Piazza but no one met us. We did have a wonderful time and would highly recommend.

Filipo was our chef and guide. He is very knowledgable about ingredients and techniques. He was very accomodating about our dietary requirements and provided suitable alternatives for toppings and the food tour as well.

The market tour was fantastic and highly recommended, its not the same going on your own!

We met Giuseppe in town and he walked us through the market. We bought vegetables, fish, shrimp, and other ingredients. He was very knowledgeable and knew all the vendors. He drove us in his car back to his family home outside the city. We toured the incredible garden and home. We met his family and began preparing the meal with Giuseppe and his cousin, Cristina a professional chef. They treated us to a charcuterie sampling of cheese, olives, nuts, and incredible homemade ricotta cheese. We made bruschetta, pasta with shrimp, peppers with breadcrumbs, fried anchovies, orange salad, and gelato.
It was incredibly fun and we learned so much. We enjoyed the local wine and Prosecco spritz as well. This experience was incredible and the cultural immersion was such a wonderful benefit. I encourage anyone spending time in Siracusa to spend 4+ hours with Giuseppe and his family.

My daughter and I booked the cooking class in Palermo with Patrizia last week and had such a wonderful time! I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and delicious break from site seeing. We met Patrizia and walked to the AMAZING market to pick our fresh seafood and dinner ingredients. The market was phenomenal, so much fresh seafood. We picked from what was in season and then casually walked back to Patrizia's charming place. We drank wine, ate cheese and made swordfish rolls, fresh pesto pasta, delicious artichokes and a sweet dessert with a Limoncello chaser (whatch out for that one!). Patrizia was such a great hostess, we had such a lovely time and agreed this was the best meal we had in Rome/Palermo. It was so fresh and so delicious! The experience was one we will not soon forget, I cannot recommend it more highly. Thank you Patrizia!

My wife and I had an amazing experience cooking with Teresa. We’ve done cooking classes before in commercial kitchens, and this class in a local’s home was much more authentic. Our class had 4 people total, so the small group size allowed for a very personalized experience. As for Teresa, she’s very welcoming, friendly and a great instructor.

As for the menu, Teresa will either provide you with suggestions or allow you to make a request. We cooked arancini al ragu (upon request) and cannolis, plus a handful of other small appetizers. This experience was very much hands on — with a small group of 4, everyone took turns with each of the key steps in the recipes.

All the food turned out to taste magnificent and it was more than enough food for lunch (plus leftovers to takeaway). In addition to the food, we were also served coffee in the morning and wine during lunch. Teresa also sent us home with recipes of the items we cooked and a few of her other favorites that we didn’t cook. Lastly, Teresa’s home was lovely and a great environment for the class.

I would certainly return and recommend this experience. A very fun and authentic cooking course!
