This experience was absolutely fantastic. Pelion, the guide, is well versed in EVERYTHING Ortigia! We visited a half a dozen artisans that were more than gracious to share their work and what was behind it. These artists were all self supporting the sustainability of materials and nature. As an artist myself, it was such a joy to meet other artists doing wonderful work. All of which was of quality.
I can not recommend this Ortigia Artisan Tour more. You do not have to be an artist to enjoy the pleasure of creativity.

Had read about the Puppet Theatre online so had decided to go. Then saw that there was also the option of a behind the scenes tour. We booked tickets for the show and managed to get a behind the scenes tour paid for separately before the show started. The tour only lasted half an hour or so but I'm so glad we did it. Peublo was brilliant, really enthusiastic. Watching the show afterwards we were able to appreciate just what was achieved with basically three controls.
The show itself is in Italian. You have the plot outlined in English at the start but there are far too many twists in the plot to absorb it. A summary of what had gone on in the scene before and what lay ahead during scene changes may have been more comprehensible.
As others have written, even with scant idea of what is going on with the plot it's all great fun and pretty spectacular. The time flew by

The experience was one of a kind, with easy and ergonomic controls, the instructor gives you time to learn before starting the time. The instructor was very friendly and let me have longer time on the board than was paid for, due to no following reservation. At the time I went the water was warm and there was a decent amount of space to surf through

Before coming to Ragusa Ibla, I'd already heard a lot about its charm and stunning views. But I was a bit fed up with all the classical tours I found on the internet, so I decided to go for something different and fresh. And since I've always been into photography (though no photographer myself), I decided to give Liina's tour a try...and I couldn't have chosen better!

Being shown around this lovely Sicilian town by a young and passionate Estonian photographer was the best experience ever! Liina managed to make the visit really unique by explaining why she'd decided to move to Ragusa and showing her favourite spots in the town. And she also shared great photography tips with me - I feel like I've learned so much and want to learn more! Not to mention her warm and smiley personality, which made the walk even more pleasant.

Thanks for the great time, Liin

Great relaxing and regenerating day with this special activity. I love yoga and I prefer to practice it in natural contexts, but never done on a volcano. Great experience, because it's still yoga in the woods as I like it, but also connected and close to old lava stones. Great!

We love nature and spend hours walking, hiking and getting relaxed by silence and trees. So we decided to have a lovely weekend of meditation, which is actually an easy way to get rid of stress and regenerate your mind (and soul). Lovely activities between the woods and the old lava stones, unique setting. Lodging was on a lovely chalet on Mt. Etna.

This was truly a very nice experience with very kind people. Gloria and her husband took the time to explain the whole process of making ceramic. They let us the time to try to make something nice. They helped out where needed so we would create very nice masks.Even our teenagers were very enthusiastic about the workshop. If you want to do something out of the box and creative this is the one. I would recommend it 100%

Seeing the museum before the show can give you a better appreciation of the marionette show. Try and stop in and see new marionettes being created in a storefront shop across from the museum. It is helpful to read the print explaining the puppets. Some of the faces of the puppets can be scary for young kids.
