    Customer service beyond compare!!!
    This was the third time we have been to this studio!! The first time he made a rose for my granddaughter, the second we bought tiles for our patio table and this time we bought more tiles for our table. He didn’t have exactly what size we wanted but painted them and fired them in 2 days for us. We got to take them out of the oven warm!!!! Now that’s customer service!!! And all that was done with only a little Italian. Friends are made everywhere you go in Sicily. That’s why we keep coming back!!!

    Simply the BEST
    This is the best ceramic shop on island. The owning couple is incredibly accommodating, willing to help you get literally what you're looking for, to the point of customization or any other types of Sicilian art you're looking for on the island. They have a great working relationship with caltigirone and will replicate any piece you want if what you want has already been sold. I purchased a few pigni, moorish heads, Medusa, Sicilian cart, and other little ceramic trinquets, and I'm obsessed. They will buy you coffee while they coordinate your taxi back to your car to ensure the safety of your ceramics. 1000000%hands down, best place ever. I can't recommend highly enough.

    Excellent place to take home with you a taste of Sicily
    This family run business offers own produce as wine, sweet wine, olive oil and various flavours of honey. You can taste the different products before buying, so a good place to visit to buy and take home some good tastes of Sicily.

    Super recommended!
    Francesca, the ceramist, is such a lovely lady with an incredible talent for artistic ceramics. All of her work is unique and her attention to detail amazing. She made my wedding favors with such care and artistry that all my guests loved it! She is kind and adorable. She will listen to your requests and make you happy no matter what, even if that means going the extra mile. I can't thank her enough for an incredible experience and I will definitely go back to her for all my special occasions.

    Amazing place for a foodie
    Wide variety of choices regarding fresh fruits, vegetables and seafood. Everything is fresh and tastes marvellous. You can drink fresh squeezed juice there, have some oysters with wine and - what we did - buy some products of low availability in other countries. Amazing place, would definitely be there regularly if I lived in Siracuse!

    Great selection of quality items
    There seems to be countless storefronts selling Sicilian ceramics in lovely Taormina Some offerings of lesser quality and workmanship.

    But “Manago” has an excellent collection of well made items. Their friendly staff were a pleasure to deal with and our purchase was shipped home to the USA.

    Everything arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Email communications were answered very quickly as we tracked our package.

    Very highly recommend stopping by the store!

    Sicilian Goodies
    I bought foodie gifts for myself and for friends. I was overjoyed to find such a delightful array of yummy goodies. I bought more here than anywhere else on my trip. The proprietors were lovely and welcoming and readily provided samples. My Italian was terrible but thankfully they spoke a little English. Now that I am home and have tried some of what I bought, I want to purchase more for myself!!

    Hand Made And Delivered To The U.S.
    We were in Siracusa on vacation and saw plenty machine-made Teste di Moro... then we found this wonderful shop with skilled and friendly owners/ crafts people. We ordered two white Teste di Moro to be hand made and delivered to North Carolina in the USA.

    We received two well packaged boxes with BEAUTIFUL memories of Sicily! We highly recommend this shop and the wonderful owners!

    Great place to try and buy Monica chocolate
    Stopped by here to buy some chocolate . The staff will help you choose. The tour was full so could not do that. Looked interesting so that was a shame

    Tutto perfetto!
    It was an absolutely perfect expierience to get a full plate of antipasti. We got full plate of food including 5 various kinds of vine! Higlhy recommended. Even though we do not understand a word in itialian the service was absolutely perfect and really kind! Truely an italian expierence.

    I love my new garden table
    Hi highly reccomend Salvatore if you ever need a unique piece from Caltagirone. Me and my husband are both Italian, but live in London and we wanted to take a piece of Italy with us to brighten up the garden. We met Salvatore a bit randomly on a very sunny day and we knew straight away he was going to be the one we were going to order the table from. He is very professional from start to finish. On the day we placed the order of our table he was very detailed on what was going to happen going forward. Once we went back to UK he kept in touch with me pretty much every day when he started the job with pictures updates.
    We could clearly communicate with him and let him know how we wanted the table to look like. The result was stunning.

    Great visit at the farm making memories and new friends!!
    After a visit and a scheduling mis communication we are headed back to Menfi to the Montalbano Organic farm. Arrived there and went to the store. We were buzzed in right away. Virginia was there to greet us and told us that Antonino would be there. He got there and told us that he was moving to the front of the store to pick us up. So we went out front and climbed into Antonino’s car. He said first to the olive trees and then to the grape vines. He talked the whole way. He told us about the farm and about the laboratory where he does analysis and experiments on the grapes to make the best wines and all of the other products they currently make. He also said they will soon have some new products. I asked if he did other things along with the farm? We found out he is a teacher of chemistry, science and math. Got to the olive trees got out and Antonino told us about the trees. How long they can live, how long before a new tree will produce. I told him that I had on my bucket list to pick olives from an olive tree in Italy. He said absolutely so they took pictures of me picking olives from the tree. Very cool. Then we got back in the car and drove to the vineyards. He showed us two different grapes. The first was a new grape. Purple on the outside but the pulp inside was a beautiful red. They tasted so good. Then we saw a shiny green grape. Tasting them, they were such a sweet grape. He told us all about wine production. Then we headed back to the store. When we walked in the table was set with breads covered with the spreads they produce, some cups of 2 other products. The mother Cristina came in and another relative named Rossa Maria was there. They were all so very kind and friendly. A bottle of wine they made was opened. It was very good. I had decided to buy some things and have them shipped. Laura was buying things with the plan of putting them in her checked bag. We were all laughing and the Mother asks do I have Facebook. So we are all pulling up our Facebook accounts and friend requesting each other. It was one of those belly laugh moments. When we had finished our orders we left after much cheek kissing and hugs having made some really nice friends. I will be happy when the Montalbano products can be ordered on line and I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my box. In the meantime we can e-mail them and arrange a delivery. I know quite a few of my American family and friends who would love their products. I would highly recommend a visit to the farm and store. It will be a lifelong fond memory for me.

    Best sandwich !
    Visited twice during our short stay, and this place is fantastic. The sandwiches are great, good value for money, and the staff couldn’t be more welcoming and friendly. I would highly recommend visiting at least once (you’ll end up coming back a lot more!)

    Awesome place to visit.
    We have been going to Sicily for these past 6 years and Porte Di Catania is a place we normally visit. It is a big shopping mall where one can find almost everything. With good food outlets, free Wi-Fi and plenty of shops of all goods.
