If you compare with Milano it’s small, plenty of people in budget stores, not much in more expensive ones.

I have been to Catania first, one year ago and then Palermo, this year. I read in a few places than Palermo has more to offer.

I guess it is because of the architecture and it is a bigger size city than Catania. Nothing else from my point of view.

Personally, I liked more Catania. Palermo I found it more disorganised, chaotic and noisy than Catania. Architecture is nice and culturally, the history is good. The airport is much more apart than Catania and there are less places to see around. In Catania for example, you can easily go to Syracuse, Messina, Taormina.

Another point, perhaps I was not lucky really, people in Palermo tended to be less smiley, unfriendly and showed like a fatigue attitude

A lovely view of Mount Etna on approach to the large shopping centre! A great range of shops are inside, more toward the higher price range but there are still affordable shops too. A nice collection of restaurants at the other end of the mall. All in all, a great trip out!

First time visit. Beautiful layout and a very good range of shops. Food court is very good but limited inrange, though we did enjoy eating there. Conveniently located especially if travelling by personal car. Closeto other outlets. A visit is a must for any visitors.

Want to kill some hours happy shopping? this is a great shopping centre. Great because you can shop, eat & go to cinema all together! Shopping mall is modern, clean & large. Lots of good quality shops, in a pleasant environment. A mixture of many type shops, so will please all. Cafes also, offer happy hour cocktail, & restaurants in doors have good quality food. Centre dome area, hosts craft stalls, or at Christmas time a mini ice rink! From Taormina on the motorway its about 25mins drive. Worth a visit for shopaholics!

A great little mall, with 2 levels. I wish there were a few more shops, but the shops themselves and the prices ranges were all great.

Best thing there was the pizza place that has closed. Don't like the escalator. There is a Euronics..so I suppose that is a plus

A typical thing to happen when you travel to Sicily is that your airline will lose your luggage. This mainly happens because there are few direct flights to Sicily (especially from America). Not to worry, everything you need can be found at Parco Corolla. When we had no clothes, toiletries or shoes when our luggage was lost for 5 days, Ipercoop and Piazza Italia saved the day. Ipercoop is like Target and Piazza Italia is like H&M. We found everything we needed, plus good Sicilian wine for 3 Euros. We went there again on our latest visit even though our luggage wasn't lost. It's a convenient place to shop, and is probably the most mall-like place you'll find in Sicily. Right in the middle is a thousand year-old building next to McDonald's, so you can get some history there while you shop and eat. Only in Italy!

Given this place a 2 star rating simply because of its proximity to our resort and we managed to do most of our food shopping here. Most shops have closed and I can see why. The supermarket has all you need and a restaurant with bakery, which had some really nice cakes.

However the whole place had a dirty feel to it and although I am a dog lover, I am not a fan of allowing them in supermarkets especially when they do their business all over the place!!!

This mall would be very nice if it didn't have Destiny USA to compete with. Lots of closed stores leaves the mall very deserted and boring. Movie theater is very big and very nice, and it seems to be the nearest Sears to downtown. Nice if you want to go for walks indoors in the winter without all the people that are always at Destiny.
