This beach is really beautiful, with crystal clear blue water and amazing view and nature. You can take really nice pics

Amazing beach, but a little bit too busy and there are only two beach bars where you can eat or drink somethnig, its too little for a big beach like this

Beautiful area in Sardinia with white sand beach ... the beach is very narrow and the crowds there were immense... there are options if you visit you can take a towel and lay it down when you find a spot or there are a number of places that will rent chairs and an umbrella for 20 E for a half day ... there are lots of people selling goods on the beach and numerous bars and restaurants all along this 7k stretch of sand ... water is crystal clear and scenery is great ... it is only 5k or so away from town ... large parking lot and a cheap bus ride will get you there and back ... but again be aware it is crowded

Beautiful beach with not that of a hike
A big guy like me with knee issues needed 1h20min to descent and to go back we needed 1h10min
The path is most in the shadows like 60%
    Beach is a must see

We went to the beach on a Sunday and there were quite a few people enjoying the beautiful water and soft sand. There are plenty of facilities to make your day enjoyable. We stocked up on umbrellas, towels and snorkel gear in Villasimius but there are people selling towels, umbrellas, toys and even dresses as well as bathing suits right on the beach!

A lovely, long, white sandy beach, just a 45min walk (or 15€ taxi) from Alghero harbour-front where our cruise tender dropped us off. Very popular with families as the water is calm and shallow. It was already busy by 10am and wish we had known to book loungers and an umbrella in advance as there were none available along the entire beach. They’d ALL been reserved. Still, we laid out our towels and made the best of it. Plenty of little places to grab a snack or a drink. It felt very local and untouristy.

Is Arutas contends for the title of the most beautiful beach in all of Sardinia. Uniquely, the sand here is of the larger white-quartz type, and your feet sink in with every step. The water is gorgeous, although the sea floor drops quickly after just a handful of meters. There are several bars along the beach, with paid toilets, but we did not see any rental facilities.

So, if you're going to Sardinia or Corsica, make sure you get to do a tour of the archipelago surrounding La Maddalena Island tucked in to the northeast of mainland Sardinia and southeast of Corsica. It is simply breathtaking, with the shades of turqouise waters, smaller and some bigger sandy beaches, nooks and crannies all around these islands and just smell the salt water and feel the breeze. Having lived in the Caribbean; this is the closest I've seen to that, in the Mediterranean.

Lots of these beaches are only accessible by sea, and boat (rented or on a tour) is the way to go to make sure you really get what this place has to offer. The clearest of clear waters, wild and erratic rocks and formations, in all shades of sandy/terracotta/granite and the juniper bushes that thrive all around all of these rocky islands. If you're into underwater, bring your googles/snorkeling gear- as that's where the real show is on!

Had we stayed for longer than a week, we might have done yet another trip out and about the archipelago, just because there seems to be so many islands to see. Keep in mind that this is a national park, so please do what you can to help preserve it - no littering, and be respectful of both flora and fauna.

If you have time, do head in to La Maddalena town as well - it is rather pictoresque and quaint, and has a selection of restaurants and bars, as well as some shopping for those who'd rather do that than more swimming.

nice beach, but I don't recommend it for beginner cyclists, the elevation difference is too big, every beach has as much as this one in Sardegna

Yes, the parking is relatively pricey (10 Eur per vehicle + 1 Eur per person most of the day, reducing to 6 Eur + 1 Eur p/p during quieter hours) and no doubt the loungers and bar/restaurant are similarly expensive; and yes, the beach is small and very busy, but this place is still absolutely heavenly. A gorgeous sandy beach sits on one side of the peninsula offering shallow access to the crystal clear waters. The other side is more rocky, with large granite boulders leading to a perfect, deep snorkelling spot, teeming with fish. Considering you'd likely pay upwards of 20 Eur p/p to visit an aquarium, at Punta Molentis an entire family can actually be submerged in one, all day, for less, so in this sense it's actually great value. Breathtaking scenery and a lovely vibe.

I loved this beach. The water is crystal clear. The number of visitor are limited so to go you have to check a local website that is updated in real time. Search for “Tuerredda prenotazione”. If you get there early, you’ll find a spot on the free beach. If you want a guaranteed spot, you have to reserve one of the Lidi. It’s worth the hassle!

Parked 1km from the end in an EasyPark bay. Walked the last stretch into capo testa. Used AllTrails for an overview of all the trails around the park.
From the entrance by the cafe, went right and along the coastland path. Went to the far north area to the climb up to the rock.
Nice, though in sept was still v hot so plenty of water required.

A long strip of sand, with several club sections, several bars, chez-lounges and umbrellas for hire, and sports rentals. Cold water after the recent storms, but tranquil, and likely warm at regular times. Very nice even in the less-than-perfect conditions. Club sections may cost €40 per two chez-lounges and one umbrella, whereas open-beach vendors charge only €15 for the same.

Our tour guide, Andreas was brilliant. Given the constraints imposed on them I thought all the staff did a phenomenal job making the extraordinary history of the site come alive. You obviously do have to plan your visit at the moment but we loved it. This was our favourite archeological site on Sardinia. Andreas was great!

    Nice place to be.
Of course the beach is little and becomes crowded at lunch time (but it’s Sardinia, right?!), but amazing anyway.
There are some trees where you can hang hammocks or retreat in peace if it’s too hot, and the sea is clear blue and clean.
