- Ewa MWarsaw, Poland126 contributionsBeach, sand, water look very nice. Blue like on the pictures. The problem is a number of people and no showers and one toilet just at the beginning of the beach. Actually I got a rush on my legs after this water. This is why I like less beautiful beaches in Spain. There is always a lot of free showers with sweet water and toilets. They should be installed also here.Written September 7, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- VadimMurmansk, Russia22,399 contributionsUnlike other Italian cities, where markets have a century-old history, San Benedetto is indecently young. It was founded most recently in 1957. The reason is simple, its predecessor Largo Carlo Felice was demolished by bombing Allied aircraft in World War II. Despite the fact that there are several more markets in the relatively small Cagliari, San Benedetto turned out to be a very large market. Its area is 8000 sq.m. on 2 floors. It is the largest market in Italy and one of the largest in Europe. Maybe the reason is the Sardinians' love for fresh products and the very process of market trading, which you are deprived of in soulless hypermarkets. Probably, the reason for the popularity of San Benedetto is the sellers. They are surprisingly friendly and tactful. We came to buy fruit, cheese, ham and olives for the road. It was already late, some of the traders were already winding down, but the market did not lose its appeal. On the market you can buy the main specialties of Sardinia - Bottarga (dried caviar), Prickly pear, the famous Sardinian honey and, of course, Pecorino cheese. The first three delicacies are for an amateur, but Sardinian cheese is worth trying for everyone. Pecorino sardo can be sweet (dolce) or mature (mature) depending on the aging period.Written April 3, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

When visiting this beach you realise how beautiful Sardinia is and how it isn’t necessary to travel towards exotic or expensive places to see enchanting natural beauty.Written September 30, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Des_GruntledWest Sussex, UK184 contributionsClean crystal clear water with white sand. Exactly what Sardinia is famous for. Gently sloping beach where you can wade out quite a way before being out of your depth. Good for non swimmers and safe for kids.
Private car park at €1.50 per hour.
Clean toilets if needed.
Take your own parasol unless you fancy paying €30 per day for front row sun loungers and parasol.
Lots of lookie lookie men and massage women who can be persistent and irritating. We had fun watching some Germans teasing them.
Plenty of space available at least when we travelled. It tends to be more crowded at the weekends.Written October 3, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Niaomh T3 contributionsamazing place!
Even though it was a little bit cloudy, the water had a wonderful color!
the sand was so tiny!
It's amazing but I really don't understand why the north places are so much more famous than the rest of the south of island! I found it much more interesting the south of the islandWritten April 29, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Roberta CRome, Italy47 contributionsCrystal water. Beautiful sand. Wonderful day on the beach. But you have to arrive early before 9.30 am.Written August 19, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.
- NellaVR14 contributionsA couple of metres higher than sea level, this beach is beautiful yet suitable for those with good leg strength and balance to climb up the sand when exiting the water. Turquoise, clear, cool water and a beach club where you can have a delicious lunch.Written September 30, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC.

It's usually a bit crowded, but nice people, good conditions and lots of schools.
Although not all to beginner-friendly, due to deep and choppy water.Written November 10, 2021This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of TripAdvisor LLC. - Kirk3 contributionsBe have been here for couple hours,
